The Settimana Ciclistica Italiana is a professional bicycle road race held through out Italy. [1] Its first edition took place in July 2021, as part of the UCI Europe Tour as a 2.1 category event. [2] [3] The race normally runs over five days over hilly terrain.

The Vuelta a España is an annual multi-stage bicycle race primarily held in Spain, while also occasionally making passes through nearby countries. Inspired by the success of the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia, the race was first organised in 1935. The race was prevented from being run by the Spanish Civil War and World War II in the early years of its existence; however, the race has been held annually since 1955. It is currently sponsored by the Danish national postal agency, PostNord, and the race is therefore also known as PostNord Danmark Rundt. The race is sometimes called the Tour of Denmark in English language media. The race has been on the UCI ProSeries calendar since 2021, after being cancelled in 2020.

Alfa Lum was an Italian professional cycling team that existed from 1982 to 1990. The team is best remembered for introducing many successful riders from the former Soviet Union in 1989 and 1990. The Sibiu Cycling Tour is a 2.1 category professional bicycle road race held in Sibiu, Romania. Its first edition took place in July 2011, as part of the UCI Europe Tour. The race is organised with the support of the local council as well as the regional council of Sibiu. Held entirely around the city, the race normally runs over four days including a prologue on the cobbled streets of the city, and two climbing stages, one on the Transfăgărășan road to Bâlea Lake and a second to the mountain resort of Păltiniș.

The 2015 Settimana Internazionale di Coppi e Bartali was the 30th edition of the Settimana Internazionale di Coppi e Bartali cycling stage race. It started on 26 March in Gatteo and ended on 29 March in Roccapelago. The race consisted of four stages. As in the 2014 edition, the first stage was divided into two half-stages, with the second half of the first stage being a team time trial.
