Fellsmere is a city in Indian River County, Florida, United States. It is part of the Sebastian–Vero Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 4,834 at the 2020 census.

The Malden River is a 2.3-mile-long (3.7 km) river in Malden, Medford, and Everett, Massachusetts. It is roughly 675 feet (206 m) wide at its widest point and is very narrow at its smallest point. Its banks are largely occupied by industrial business, and the river is scarcely used or even mentioned. Its water quality is worse than most local waters, including the Mystic River, into which it flows. The Mystic River Watershed Association is working and creating educational programs to help the environment. The Association works on projects to improve the Mystic River and tributaries, lakes and ponds and greenways along the waterfronts. Rivergreen Park is part of the Mystic Greenways and is along the Malden River. The Friends of the Malden River organize clean-up events.
Pine Banks is a 107.5-acre (0.435 km2) park located in the cities of Malden and Melrose, Massachusetts. It was donated by former Mayor of Malden Elisha S. Converse to be used "forever as a public park". The agreement was that both towns had equal ownership, responsibility, and power, which is still the case today; the non–profit Board of Trustees owns the park, with equal representation from both cities.
Blue Cypress Lake, originally called Lake Wilmington, is a lake in Indian River County of the Treasure Coast in Florida. It is the largest lake in the Treasure Coast and Indian River County. It is the headwaters lake of the St. Johns River. The sources of water are several creeks from the south, two from the west, and Moonshine Bay from the North that flow into the lake. All the water flows out of the lake to the northwest into M Canal and Zigzag Canal. The lake is over 6,500 acres (26 km2) in size, 21 mi (34 km) in circumference, and has an average depth of 8 feet (2.4 m). The lake is 2,100 acres (8.5 km2) larger than Lake Washington, 27 mi (43 km) north of this lake. The lake's name comes from the blue appearance of the cypress trees as the morning sun's rays reflect off the water. A fishing camp called Blue Cypress Lakeside Cabins is 4 mi (6.4 km) off State Road 60. The Blue Cypress Village is south of the small boat canal from the fish camp.
The Charles W. Ward Reservation is a 704-acre (285 ha) open space reserve located in Andover and North Andover, Massachusetts, 20 miles (32 km) north of Boston. The reserve, managed by the land conservation non-profit organization The Trustees of Reservations, is notable for its open drumlin hilltops and vistas encompassing Boston and Salem. The Ward Reservation offers 13 miles (21 km) of trails and former woods roads available for hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, and cross country skiing; it is also a link in the 200-mile (320 km) Bay Circuit Trail system.

Fellsmere Park is a historic park that was designed by the famous landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted for the city. The construction began in 1893 and was finished in 1899. Most of the land for the park was donated by Malden's first mayor Elisha S. Converse. After the fire on his rubber shoe factory in 1875, he purchased the swamp planning to turn it into a water reservoir in case of emergency. Later, following the advice of the noted journalist Sylvester Baxter, he donated the land for establishing a beautiful public park with a pond. In 1905 the city turned the park over to the Metropolitan Parks Commission. The MPC in 1913 designed the boundary roads of the park, which were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in May 2003 as Fellsmere Park Parkways. Fellsway East, which is part of the Fellsway Connector Parkways, runs through Fellsmere Park on the east side of Fellsmere Pond.
Noon Hill and Shattuck Reservation are adjacent open space preserves located in Medfield, Massachusetts. They are managed by the land conservation non-profit organization The Trustees of Reservations. The 200-mile (320 km) Bay Circuit Trail passes through both properties. The Town of Medfield owns conservation land adjacent to the properties.
Wat Boston Buddha Vararam is a Thai Theravada Buddhist Temple or Wat located in Bedford, Massachusetts. It is one of two Thai Buddhist Temples in Massachusetts, the other being Wat Nawamintararachutis. The main community at Wat Boston includes primarily Cambodians, Thais and Laos communities, although they welcome all.
Sylvester Baxter was an American newspaper writer, poet, and urban planner in the Boston area. In 1893 he became the first secretary of the Massachusetts Metropolitan Park Commission and along with Charles Eliot was a chief force in the development of the Metropolitan Park System of Greater Boston.
