The 1914 Copa del Rey Final was the 14th final of the Spanish cup competition, the Copa del Rey. The final was played at Costorbe in Irun on 10 May 1914. The match was won by Athletic Bilbao, who beat España FC 2–1. The star of the match was Severino Zuazo, who scored the goals that gave the cup to Athletic, while Jaime Villena reduced the deficit for España with two minutes remaining.
Manuel Prast Rodríguez de Llano was a footballer who played as a striker for Madrid FC between 1904 and 1908, and 1911 and 1914. He was a historical member of Madrid FC, playing a pivotal role in Madrid's four back-to-back Copa del Rey titles between 1905 and 1908, playing in all the finals and scoring in three of them, including the winning goals in the finals of 1905 and 1907 and a brace in 1906. He played a pivotal role in helping the Basque club reach eight Copa del Reys finals, of which he played in seven and won five, including three in a row between 1914 and 1916, which makes him one of the players with the best record of the competition. Although history seems to have blurred the legend of Hurtado, he was one of the most important footballers in the amateur beginnings of Athletic Club.
