Sex and the College Girl (also known as The Fun Lovers) is a 1964 American comedy film directed by Joseph Adler and starring John Gabriel, Luana Anders and Charles Grodin. [1]
This is a "slice-of-life" film set primarily around a Puerto Rican luxury hotel frequented by young East Coast weekenders.
The film has been described as "a low-budget version of Sex and the Single Girl ". [2]
Charles Sidney Grodin was an American actor, comedian, author, and television talk show host. Known for his deadpan delivery and often cast as a put-upon straight man, Grodin became familiar as a supporting actor in many Hollywood comedies of the era. After a small part in Rosemary's Baby in 1968, he played the lead in Elaine May's The Heartbreak Kid (1972) where he received a nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy.

John Gabriel was an American actor, singer-lyricist, and producer who is best known for his role as Seneca Beaulac on Ryan's Hope, for which he received an Emmy Award nomination in 1980. Gabriel, who played the Professor in the original, unaired Gilligan's Island pilot, was the father of actress Andrea Gabriel. He appeared on Broadway in The Happy Time in 1968, and produced the shortlived eponymous television series Charles Grodin starring Charles Grodin in 1995.
