Shaheen is a 1980 Pakistani historical and Islamic drama television series originally broadcast on PTV. The series was based on the novel of the same name by Naseem Hijazi and dramatised by Saleem Ahmad. Set in the 1490s in Granada, the series entails the glorious past of the Muslims and revolves around their downfall in Undalus (present day Spain). [1] [2]

Premise

The series is set in the 15th century in Granada. The story entails the glorious past of the Muslims in that region, the reasons for their downfall, and also talks about the struggles that they made for the integrity of their ending empire. [3]

Muhammad bin Nasser Al-Aboudi, was a Saudi writer, author and traveller, born in the city of Buraidah, and received his initial education there. Then he worked as a teacher and then director of the Scientific Institute in Buraidah. He also served as the Director and Secretary General of the Islamic University of Madinah for thirteen years. He held the position of Assistant Secretary-General of the Muslim World League. Dushman (transl. Enemy) is a 2022 Pakistani drama television series first broadcast on PTV Home as a part of night primetime programming. It is written by Ali Moeen, directed by Abdullah Badini, and produced by Zeeshan Ahmed under banner Mont Blanc Entertainment. The series has an ensemble cast of Nadia Afgan, Saman Ansari, Feroza Muhammad, Nayyar Ejaz, Hassan Niazi, Sabeeka Imam, Ayub Khoso and Naila Jaffri in her last on-screen appearance.
