Shaheen Monwara Haque is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and a former member of the Bangladesh Parliament from a reserved seat.
Haque was born on 23 September 1956. She has a H.S.C. degree. [1]
Haque was elected to parliament from a reserved seat as a Bangladesh Awami League candidate in 2009. [2] She was a member of the Standing Committee on the Ministry of Information. [3]
General elections were held in Bangladesh on 27 February 1991. The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) emerged as the largest party in parliament, winning 140 of the 300 directly elected seats. The BNP formed a government with the support of the Islamic party Jamaat-e-Islami and on 20 March Khaleda Zia was sworn in for her first term as Prime Minister.
