Dr. Shahid Siddiqui is a Pakistani academic, [1] educationist, [2] researcher, and writer. He served as Vice-Chancellor of Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad from 2014 to 2018. [3] [4] [5] He was succeeded as VC AIOU by Dr. Nasir Mahmood in October 2018. [6] Currently, he is working as Dean of Social Sciences with the National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad.

He introduced archaeology as a discipline in higher education in Pakistan and Bangladesh. Throughout his career, Dani held various academic positions and international fellowships, apart from conducting archaeological excavations and research. He is particularly known for archaeological work on pre-Indus civilization and Gandhara sites in Northern Pakistan.

Attash Durrani was a Pakistani linguist, researcher, critic, author, educationist, and gemologist. He wrote more than 275 books and approximately 500 papers in Urdu and English. His main disciplines of study were language, education, computer science, and information technology. He was the recipient of the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz and Sitara-e-Imtiaz for his work of Urdu language and literature.

Syed Mujahid Kamran is a Pakistani theoretical physicist and a former vice-chancellor of the University of the Punjab in Lahore, Pakistan.

The Pakistani textbooks controversy refers to claimed inaccuracies and historical denialism. The inaccuracies and myths promote religious intolerance and Indophobia and lead to calls for curriculum reform. According to the Sustainable Development Policy Institute, Pakistan's school textbooks have systematically inculcated anti-Indian discrimination through historical omissions and deliberate misinformation since the 1970s.

Hamida Khuhro was a Pakistani politician and historian who twice served as Sindh's Minister for Education and also served as a professor of history at the University of Sindh.

She began her career as a child artist, and later started in television serials such as Sang-e-Mar Mar and its second trilogy Sang-e-Mah. Faiz is currently hosting a morning show on Hum Pashto 1.
