Shahidul Islam Biswas (1948-2006) is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician and the former Member of Parliament from Chuadanga-1.
Biswas was a founding member of Bangladesh Jubo Dal. [3] He was the General Secretary of Bangladesh Nationalist Party. [4] He was elected to Parliament in 2001 from Chuadanga-1 as a candidate of Bangladesh Nationalist Party. [5]
Biswas died on 11 November 2006 in Ibn Sina Clinic,Dhaka,Bangladesh. [3]
The Bangladesh Nationalist Party is a major political party in Bangladesh. Founded on 1 September 1978 by the late Bangladeshi president Ziaur Rahman,with a view of uniting people with a nationalist ideology,BNP later came out as one of the two most dominant parties in Bangladesh,along with its archrival Awami League.
