Shamsul Haque is a retired Bangladesh Army Lieutenant General who is the former QMG of Bangladesh Army. He was the Director General of National Security Intelligence, the principal intelligence agency of Bangladesh until July 2018. [1] [2] [3] He was the previous chairman of Sena Kalyan Sangstha. [4] He was made the chairman of Sena Kalyan Sangstha on 15 May 2014. [5] Lt Gen Shams was commissioned in the 10th BMA Long Course in June 1984. He has also served as the Defence Advisor in Bangladesh Permanent Mission of United Nations Headquarters, New York. He also served as Commanding Officer of 6 Rifle Battalion in Bangladesh Rifles (Now Border Guard Bangladesh). Under him construction of a new headquarters of the NSI in Segun Bagicha started in 2015. The NSI is the leading body of the Government of Bangladesh in the field of internal security, counter terrorism, counter intelligence and foreign intelligence. NSI is the largest among the intelligence agencies in Bangladesh, the others being the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI), SB, CID, PBI and intelligence directorates of armed and paramilitary forces. The agency stands under the direct authority of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh.

Chowdhury Hasan Sarwardy, Bir Bikram, SBP, ndc, psc is a retired lieutenant general of Bangladesh Army and former commandant of National Defence College. He previously served as GOC of Army Training and Doctrine Command (ARTDOC).

Md Jahangir Al Mustahidur Rahman is a Bangladesh Army Major General. In his civil career he was the chairman of Bangladesh Tea Board. He is currently appointed as the Bangladeshi Ambassador to Lebanon.
