Shanice Stephens was the head women's basketball coach at the University of North Texas. [1] She spent three seasons as the associate head coach at Clemson University, and was an assistant at Rice University the previous 9. She is considered an excellent recruiter, having drawn several top 25 classes while at Clemson. At Rice, she helped the Owls win 179 games.

She played college basketball at Oklahoma State University. At Oklahoma State, she played on two National Collegiate Athletic Association tournament teams, including one that reached the Sweet Sixteen.
The Dakota Wizards were an American professional basketball team based in Bismarck, North Dakota. They played in the NBA Development League from 2006 until 2012. After the 2011–12 season, the team relocated to Santa Cruz, California, and now plays as the Santa Cruz Warriors. Billy Eugene Self Jr. is an American basketball coach. He is the head men's basketball coach at the University of Kansas, a position he has held since 2003. During his 18 seasons as head coach, he has led the Jayhawks to 15 Big 12 regular season championships, including a share of an NCAA record 14 consecutive Big 12 regular season championships (2005–2018). He has also led the Jayhawks to three NCAA Final Four appearances, and the 2008 NCAA championship. Self was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2017. Self, as of the end of the 2020–21 season, has the 19th most wins among Division I coaches in NCAA history and 6th among active head coaches. He is the second-winningest coach in Kansas history, behind only Hall of Famer Phog Allen.
Robert Anthony Stoops is an American football coach. He was most recently the interim head football coach at the University of Oklahoma. He previously was their head coach from 1999 through the 2016 season. He led the Oklahoma Sooners to a record of 190–48 over 18 seasons. His 2000 Oklahoma Sooners football team won the 2001 Orange Bowl, which served as the BCS National Championship Game, and earned a consensus national championship. In 2020, Stoops was head coach and general manager for the Dallas Renegades of the XFL.
William Mack Brown is an American college football coach. He is currently in his second stint as the head football coach for the University of North Carolina, where he first coached from 1988 until departing in 1997, when he left Chapel Hill to become head coach for the University of Texas. In 2018, Brown was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. Two days after Carolina fired Larry Fedora in November 2018, Brown was announced to return as the Tar Heels' head coach after a five-year hiatus from coaching, which he spent as an ESPN analyst.
Oliver Gordon Purnell Jr. is an American former college basketball coach. He served as the head men's basketball coach at Radford University from 1988 to 1991, Old Dominion University from 1991 to 1994, the University of Dayton from 1994 to 2003, Clemson University from 2003 to 2010, and DePaul University from 2010 to 2015, compiling a career record of 448–386.
The TCU Horned Frogs are the athletic teams that represent Texas Christian University. In April 2018, she was inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.

This was also the first year of the California Bowl, played in Fresno, California; this game fancied itself as a "junior" version of the Rose Bowl as it pitted the Big West Conference champion vs. the Mid-American Conference champion.

He previously served as head coach at the University of Southern Mississippi from 2008 to 2011 and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2012 to 2018.

Charles Reedy is a former American football player and coach. He served as the head coach at Baylor University from 1993 to 1996, compiling a record of 23–22. Prior to replacing future College Football Hall of Fame inductee Grant Teaff, as head coach, Reedy worked for three seasons as Baylor's offensive coordinator. From 1978 to 1989, he was an assistant coach at Clemson University and was a member of Clemson's national championship team in 1981.
Patrick Clair Knight is an American basketball coach and scout. He is a scout for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Knight assumed his position on July 1, 2014, and is the Pacers' college scout for the West Coast Region.
Ruffin Horne McNeill Jr. is an American football coach and former player who currently serves as the special assistant to the head coach at NC State University. He previously served as the assistant head coach and outside linebackers coach at the University of Oklahoma and the assistant head coach and defensive line coach at the University of Virginia. McNeill also served as the head coach of the East Carolina Pirates from 2010 to 2015. Before being named head coach of the Pirates, McNeill served the Texas Tech Red Raiders as an interim head coach, assistant head coach, special teams coordinator, and linebackers coach. On December 28, 2009, he was named interim head coach of the Red Raiders following the suspension and later firing of head coach Mike Leach. He served in the position until the hiring of Tommy Tuberville, who subsequently released him as defensive coordinator.
Porter Andrew Moser is a college basketball coach who is the current head coach of the University of Oklahoma men's basketball team. Moser spent 10 years (2011–2021) at Loyola University Chicago, helping lead the Ramblers to the Final Four in 2018.
