Shanik Berman (Mexico, 1959) is a Mexican journalist. [1] She was born in Mexico City to Jewish immigrant parents from Czechoslovakia (now Slovakia) who immigrated after surviving the Second World War. She has studied Literature and Languages in Mexico, Paris and the United States.
Berman became a showbiz reporter since [2] and has since then become one of the icons of Showbiz Journalism in Mexico. Her staple show Intimamente Shanik was a pioneer in Mexican Television in handling previously censored subjects such as sex, divorces, infidelity, etc.
Currently she writes a column for the most important newspapers in México such as: ESTO , El Sol de México, La Prensa, Periódico Basta y Periódico Heraldo. She has a show business column with interviews of celebrities in the best-selling gossip magazine in México: “TVNOTAS”
She has a daily radio show Shanik en Fórmula broadcast through Radio Fórmula in Mexico, Latin America and USA which airs from Monday to Sunday. She is the author of Muy cerca del ombligo (1985) a satire about the showbiz world in México and she also wrote “Más cornadas da el Hombre” a book about bullfighters.
She started her journalistic career in 1980. She worked in All the Univisión tv shows that were about show business, Among them: “Escándalo”, “La Tijera”, “Tómbola”, “Cristina Show”, and“Sal y pimienta”
She has worked as one of the main show business journalists in all the gossip tv shows in Mexican National television such as: “La Oreja”, “Con todo”, “Vida tv”, “Viva la mañana”, “De buenas a la 1”, “D poca”, “Tv de Noche”, “Muévete”, “Nxclusiva”, “ARRIESGA TV”, “Pasillo tv”, and “El Coque va”
She has since a few years a show business section in the most Important tv morning show in Mexican National television: “HOY”.
She participated as herself in the soap opera “el triunfo del amor” with the main actor William Levy in 2010. She has her own YouTube channel ShanikTV.

SuperXclusivo is a Puerto Rican gossip show that airs on TeleOnce (WLII-DT). The show, originally premiered on WAPA-TV as SuperXclusivo on January 24, 2000. It was hosted by puppet gossiper La Comay — The Gossiper, created, voiced and puppeteered by Antulio "Kobbo" Santarrosa. La Comay was joined by a co-host and sidekick, which has been filled by Héctor Travieso, Roque Gallart and, Yan Ruiz. La Comay, the character, presents celebrity and political gossip, as well as news and social commentary on local issues. Through its original run, SuperXclusivo maintained the top position in local ratings. The show ended its original run on WAPA-TV on January 9, 2013, after Kobbo Santarrosa resigned from the network amid boycotts against him for homophobic allegations he made on air through the puppeteering of La Comay. On December 19, 2018, it was confirmed that La Comay would be returning to television to Mega TV after years of speculation. The new show, titled after the puppet gossiper, premiered on January 28, 2019 and ended on December 18, 2020, after Santarrosa decided not to renew the show's contract with the network. This resulted the show to move to TeleOnce on March 1, 2021, with comedian Yan Ruiz as the new co-host.
Cristina Romo Hernández, better known as Cristina Pacheco, was a Mexican journalist, writer and television personality. While her journalism career began in 1960, continuing with regular columns in La Jornada, she was best known for her work in television, hosting two shows called Aquí nos tocó vivir and Conversando con Cristina Pacheco, both on Once TV since 1980. With these shows, Pacheco interviewed notable people and profiled popular Mexican culture, which included interviews with common people. Álvaro Cueva is a Mexican television critic and journalist who works in print, television and radio. When he began his career in the 1980s, Mexican newspapers were not interested in columns about television and he began writing about cinema. However, he eventually convinced newspapers to let him write about television, at first under a pseudonym.
