Shanxi Xing Rui Flame is a professional women's basketball club located in Taiyuan, Shanxi, China, playing in the Women's Chinese Basketball Association (WCBA). It is also known by its sponsor's name Zhuyeqing. Led by WNBA star Maya Moore, the club won 3 consecutive WCBA championships from 2013 to 2015.

Chinese University Basketball Association was founded in 1996 and the league was launched in 1998. It is the most competitive and popular college basketball competition in China. This event is held annually and divided into the preliminary stage and the final stage, in which the national championship team is decided through a bracket style elimination event. In 2015, the competing Chinese University Basketball Super League (CUBS) merged into CUBA.

Guo Daen is a Chinese sprint canoer who competed in the late 1980s. At the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, he was eliminated in the repechages of the C-2 500 m event and again in the semifinals of the C-2 1000 m event.

The ABA Club Championship was an Asian basketball tournament for professional clubs, organised by the Asian Basketball Association (ABA) under Dr. Carl Men Ky Ching. The ABA is not to be confused with FIBA Asia which Dr. Ching had also once presided. The tournament was first held in 1992. It was named Asian Basketball Super League from 1999 to 2001, and came to a climax in 2000. The tournament was suspended between 2002 and 2006, and has been held annually in China between 2007 and 2013. Unlike the FIBA Asia Champions Cup of today, most of ABA Club Championship's participants were from the Far East.

Liaoning Zhongda Aluminium Flying Eagles is a Chinese professional women's basketball club in Liaoning, playing in the Women's Chinese Basketball Association (WCBA). Liaoning Zhongda Aluminum Co. has been the team's corporate sponsor since 2015.

Wang Zhelin is a Chinese basketball player who plays for the Fujian Sturgeons in the Chinese Basketball Association. He was drafted in Round 2 in the 2016 NBA Draft by the Memphis Grizzlies. Wang is considered one of the most promising Chinese players.

The team was based in Liaoning province except for the 2004 season, during which it played its home games in Dalang, Dongguan, Guangdong.
