After appearing as a guest shark, Daniel Lubetzky has been promoted to one of the main sharks. This is Mark Cuban's last season as a main shark. Guest Sharks includes the co-founder of IT Cosmetics Jamie Kern Lima, Raising Cane's founder Todd Graves, venture capitalist, and limited partner of the Atlanta Falcons, Rashaun L. Williams, and returning guest shark Kendra Scott. [1]

This is the first season to take place on the East Coast, with all episodes filmed at the Hell's Kitchen Restaurant at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Ledyard, Connecticut, which will also serve as the prize location for the winner of this season. This season will air the 350th episode of the series.
