Shaun Vernon du Preez (born 22 July 1987) is a Namibian rugby union player, currently playing with the Namibia national team and the Welwitschias in the South African Currie Cup competition. [1] He can play as a prop or a hooker.

Rugby career

Du Preez was born in Karasburg (then in South-West Africa, but part of modern-day Namibia) and attended Paarl Boys' High School in South Africa.

He made his test debut for Namibia in 2012 against Madagascar and represented the Welwitschias in the South African domestic Currie Cup and Vodacom Cup competitions since 2015.
