Shay Hugi (born April 7, 1981), known professionally as Shayning, is an Israeli dubstep producer and disc jockey (DJ). He is the founder of ElectroZilla Records and former drummer of Israeli death metal band Uranium. [1] His music incorporates triplet drum patterns with heavy metal influences and he is commonly regarded as pioneering Psystep [2] music subgenre, his music is best known as a mixture between classic traditional Psychedelic trance and Dubstep. He has released tracks under ElectroZilla Records, Ring Mode Records, Midijum Records

Martin Stääf, aka Liquid Stranger, is a Swedish-born electronic musician, described by Generation Bass as "the epitome of Transnational Dubstep covering everything from Latin, Asian, Eastern European and Jamaican Dancehall dubs." Martin Stääf is known for his experimental approach to composition where he merges genres to create a unique style of music. Martin Woods of Chillbase describes Liquid Stranger's music as a "unique blend of Ambience, Big Band Jazz, Dubstep and Psychedelica drizzled over electronic Dub Reggae grooves." Stääf lives in Scottsdale, Arizona.

<i>Sub Focus</i> (album) 2009 studio album by Sub Focus

Sub Focus is the self-titled debut album by British drum and bass producer Sub Focus. It was released on 12 October 2009 through RAM Records. The album primarily features drum and bass tracks, however there are tracks showcasing dubstep, electro, house, breakbeat and trance music elements. "Rock It / Follow the Light" managed to break into the top 40 of the UK Singles Chart. Two later singles, "Could This Be Real" and "Splash", both fell just below, peaking at number 41. The album charted at number 51 on the UK Albums Chart.

<i>The Chill Out Sessions</i> 2012 EP by Bring Me the Horizon and Draper

The Chill Out Sessions is the second EP by British rock band Bring Me the Horizon. It consists remixes made by British electronic music producer Draper. After being initially planned to be released on New Year's Day 2012 it was delayed indefinitely by Bring Me the Horizon due to their label situation. However it was released on 22 November 2012 as a free download. The remix EP makes use of Draper's own music style named "chill-step" or "liquid-step" as a homage to his ambient, relaxing take on dubstep music.

Jeff Montalvo, known professionally as Seven Lions, is an American DJ, record producer, instrumentalist and remixer from Santa Barbara, California. Active musically since 2010, his music combines styles as diverse as trance, melodic dubstep, drum and bass, glitch hop, and electro house. He has released eight EPs, multiple singles, and official remixes for record labels such as Casablanca Records, OWSLA, Viper Recordings, Anjunabeats, Republic Records and Monstercat.

Perfect Stranger is the stage name of Yuli Fershtat, an Israeli-based musician, producer and DJ, born in 1970 in Moscow, Russia, moving to Israel at the age of 11.

Klaypex is an electronic trio consisting of Johnny Atar, Alan Notkin and Mark Emmanuel that produces variations of house, complextro, and dubstep. His works are notable for integrating trance, electro, dubstep, techno, hip hop with electronic music sounds and world music genres. JT composes his own beats, dance and trance tracks which frequently feature a prominent bass lineHe has appeared alongside artists including Michael Procter, Akon, Pitbull, Lil Jon, Loren Taylor, Lil Wayne, Wendy Lewis, The Bliz, Ne-Yo, Jason D, Britney Spears, Chris Brown, Whitney Houston, Foxes, Christina Milian, and Ellie Goulding.

<i>Genre-Specific Xperience</i> 2011 album by Fatia Al Qadiri

Genre-Specific Xperience is a project by Kuwait musician Fatima Al Qadiri that serves as her second extended play in her discography. Its intention is to reinterpret five musical genres through audio and visuals: juke, hip hop, dubstep, electronic tropicalia, and what the press release labeled as "‘90s Gregorian trance." The main idea of the project regards what would happen if the "limitations" of a genre were bypassed or altered. The visuals for the tracks were produced by Tabor Robak, Sophia Al-Maria, Ryan Trecartin, Rhett LaRue, Kamau Patton, and production company Thunder Horse. The music videos premiered at New Museum on 21 October 2011, and the extended play itself was released by UNO Records on 25 October to favorable reviews from professional music journalists. A remix record titled GSX Remixes was released in May 2012 and features re-edits of tracks from Genre-Specific Xperience by acts such as Ikonika and DJ Rashad.

Au5 American electronic musician

Austin Collins, better known as Au5, is an American electronic musician from New Jersey. Au5's music encompasses a range of electronic genres such as dubstep, house, trance, drum and bass, drumstep and ambient, and he is known for fusing the characteristics of trance and dubstep in his music. Au5 is best known for his releases on Canadian label Monstercat, some of which have received millions of views on YouTube.
