Nargis Rabadi, better known by her stage name Shammi, was an Indian actress who appeared in over two hundred Hindi films. Shammi remained a sought-after actress with filmmakers when it came to goofy and comic roles, especially in the period 1949–1969 and later from 1980–2002. Omerta is a 2017 Indian biographical crime drama film directed by Hansal Mehta and stars Rajkumar Rao in the role of Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, British terrorist of Pakistani descent. The film explores the 1994 kidnappings of Westerners in India for which Omar was arrested and served time in prison and the plotting of murder of Wall Street Journal journalist Daniel Pearl in 2002.

Sapna Sappu is an Indian actress, producer and director who worked predominantly in Hindi Indian films. She entered the film industry in the movie Gunda, which was directed by Kanti Shah and she was given a role as Mithun Chakraborty's sister. In a career spanning over 20 years, she appeared in over 250 films in Hindi, Bhojpuri and Gujarati languages. In 2020 Sapna Sappu returned in the hit Adult TV series Aap Kee Sapna Bhabhi.

Ishwarlal was a Bollywood Hindi actor, director and producer, active from 1930 to 1966. He was born 9 October 1911 at Waghania, Bombay Presidency, British India as Hariprashad Joshi. He died on 22 January 1969 in Bombay (Mumbai), India aged 57. He acted in 86 films, directed 11 and sang in 14.

The 22nd International Indian Film Academy Awards, also known as the IIFA, was held on 3–4 June 2022, postponed from the original 18–19 March 2022 date, and the 19–21 May 2022 date. Furthermore, it was supposed to be held in 2021, before being postponed a year, along with the 2020 (2021) edition. The awards was held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The nominees were announced in early 2022.
