Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Hamad bin Abdullah bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani is a member of the ruling Al Thani Qatari royal family. He was the ruling Emir of Qatar from 1995 until 2013 when he abdicated the throne,handing power to his fourth son Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani who was born to his second spouse,Moza bint Nassir. The Qatari government refers to him as the Father Emir.

Labour force participation rates of Qatari women are above the world average and among the highest in the Arab World,which comes mainly as a result of an increasing number of Qatari women who are attaining academic degrees.
Ahmad bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud is a Qatari diplomat and politician. In November 2017,he was elected as the head of the Consultative Assembly of Qatar. He was deputy prime minister and minister of state for cabinet affairs from September 2011 to November 2017.

SheikhaAsma Al Thani is a Qatari mountaineer who is the first Qatari woman to summit Mount Everest,Lhotse,and Manaslu,K2 as well as the first Qatari female to climb Ama Dablam. She is also the first Qatari person to ski to the North Pole. On her ascent of Manaslu,she became the first Arab person to summit an eight-thousander without oxygen. She climbed Lhotse for the second time in May 2024,without the use of supplemental oxygen,becoming the first Arab to climb two 8000er without supplemental oxygen. She is Director of Marketing and Communications for the Qatar Olympic Committee. She is also a member of the ruling family of Qatar.
Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani is a Qatari royal and the first wife and consort of Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani,the Emir of Qatar. A member of the Qatari royal family by birth,she is the daughter of former government minister Sheikh Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani and a grandniece of Emir Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani. She is a second cousin of her husband. As the first wife of the Emir,she accompanied him on an official state visit to Spain in 2022,where she was presented with the Royal Order of Isabella the Catholic by King Felipe,and to the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla in 2023.
Sheikha Alanoud bint Hamad Al Thani is a Qatari businesswoman. She serves on the board of directors of the Qatar Financial Centre and was appointed as the centre's chief business officer and deputy chief executive officer in 2023. Prior to her appointment,she served as managing director of business development at the centre,launching initiatives to promote employment throughout the COVID-19 pandemic in Qatar. Sheikha Alanoud was the first woman and youngest person to be appointed to the centre's executive committee. In March 2021,she was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. In 2022,she was a recipient of the Arab Woman of the Year Award and was named by Forbes as one of the 50 Most Powerful Businesswomen in the Middle East and North Africa.
