Sheldon Bruce Kannegiesser (born August 15, 1947) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who played 366 games in the National Hockey League. He played for the Pittsburgh Penguins, New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, and Vancouver Canucks. Kannegiesser retired from hockey in 1978 and lives in North Bay. He published an autobiography written entirely in poetry, called "Warriors of Winter: Rhymes of a Blueliner Balladeer." [1] His brother was Gordon Kannegiesser.

Sheldon Souray is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played 13 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the New Jersey Devils, Montreal Canadiens, Edmonton Oilers, Dallas Stars, and Anaheim Ducks. He was best known for his heavy slapshot, once setting a previous unofficial NHL record for the hardest recorded shot at the Oilers' 2009 Skills Competition.
Adrian Mark Aucoin is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. He played over 1,100 games in the National Hockey League (NHL). Aucoin was born in Ottawa, Ontario, but grew up in Gloucester, Ontario.

Sheldon Kennedy is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played for the Detroit Red Wings, Boston Bruins and Calgary Flames in the National Hockey League (NHL). Kennedy was drafted by the Red Wings in the fourth round of the 1988 NHL Entry Draft while playing with the Swift Current Broncos of the Western Hockey League (WHL). In the WHL, Kennedy helped the Broncos capture the 1989 Memorial Cup, and was named to the tournament all-star team. Kennedy represented Canada internationally at the World Junior Championships in 1988 and 1989. He helped Canada win a gold medal at the 1988 tournament. Kennedy was born in Brandon, Manitoba, but grew up in Elkhorn, Manitoba.

Sheldon Keefe is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player. He most recently served as head coach for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the second round, 47th overall, by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. Following retirement from active play, Keefe served as head coach of the Soo Greyhounds of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), as well as the Maple Leafs' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Toronto Marlies, guiding the latter to their first Calder Cup championship in 2018.

Gordon Cameron Kannegiesser, Jr. was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman. Kannegiesser played 23 games in the National Hockey League for the St. Louis Blues during the 1967–68 and 1971–72 seasons, and 127 games in the World Hockey Association with the Houston Aeros and Indianapolis Racers from 1973 to 1975. Kannegiesser died from complications of ALS on March 1, 2022, at the age of 76. He was the brother of Sheldon Kannegiesser.

Prior to turning professional, Rempal played two seasons with Clarkson University where he was named to the NCAA (East) Second All-American Team, NCAA (ECAC) All-Tournament Team, and NCAA (ECAC) First All-Star Team.
