The Sherman School is a school district and public elementary and middle school of Sherman, Connecticut.

It opened in 1937 as a consolidation of various schools; the community voted to consolidate on April 18, 1936. [1]

Ten Mile River (Housatonic River tributary)

The Ten Mile River is a 15.4-mile-long (24.8 km) river that flows through Dutchess County, New York, into westernmost Connecticut. The river is formed in the town of Amenia, New York, at the confluence of Webatuck Creek and Wassaic Creek. The Kettle River Range, often called the Kettle Range, is the southernmost range of the Monashee Mountains, located in far southeastern British Columbia, Canada and Ferry County, Washington, in the United States. Most of the northern half of the range is protected by the Colville National Forest and the southern half of the range is located on the Colville Indian Reservation. The highest peak is Copper Butte, which reaches 2,177 metres (7,142 ft). The range is crossed by Washington State Route 20 at Sherman Pass.

58 Joralemon Street, in Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn, New York, United States, is a Greek Revival structure built in 1847 as a private residence but is now a New York City Subway vent. The Interborough Rapid Transit Company acquired the property in 1907, gutted the interior, and converted the structure to "the world’s only Greek Revival subway ventilator". The ventilator also serves as an emergency exit from the eastern end of the New York City Subway's Joralemon Street Tunnel, which carries the IRT Lexington Avenue Line between Bowling Green and Borough Hall, where it becomes the IRT Eastern Parkway Line.

The George J. Sherman Family Sports Complex is an AstroTurf field on the campus of the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut. Its seating capacity is 2,000. It is home to the school's field hockey and lacrosse teams as well as the outdoor track program. It hosted the semifinals and final of the 1997 NCAA Division I Field Hockey Championship. Sherman also has played host to the Big East Conference Field Hockey Tournament five times - 1996, 2000, 2008, 2010, and 2013. In 2015, it hosted the Big East Women's Lacrosse Tournament for the first time.

École secondaire de la Pointe-aux-Trembles is a francophone secondary public school located on Sherbrooke East street in the district of Pointe-aux-Trembles, Quebec in Montreal. Part of the Commission scolaire de la Pointe-de-l'Île, it was originally in the Roman Catholic Commission scolaire Jérôme-Le Royer before the 1998 reorganization of school boards from religious communities to linguistic communities in Quebec. This school hosts 1,261 students from sec 1 to 5 and 90 teachers.
