Paramathma is a 2011 Indian Kannada-language romantic comedy film written, directed and co-produced by Yogaraj Bhat. Halfway through its production, the film's TV rights was procured for a record ₹3.5 crore. Even before the release, the film grossed a record amount of over ₹25 Cr included broadcasting and distribution rights. Since release, the movie has garnered a cult status for its metaphorical narration and out-of-the box storytelling.
Puttakkana Highway is a 2011 Indian Kannada drama film starring Shruti and Prakash Raj in the lead roles. The film was directed by B. Suresha. Prakash Rai and Shylaja Nag jointly produced this venture under Duet Movies and Media House banner. Hamsalekha composed the music and H. M. Ramachandra was the cameraman. The story is based on the novel Puttakkana Medical College by acclaimed writer and filmmaker Nagathihalli Chandrashekar.
The Dewarists is a musical television series on MTV India. The series is part music documentary and part travelogue. The show casts musicians from various parts of the world, collaborating to create original music while travelling across India. The first season featured a total of ten episodes. It featured many musicians, including Imogen Heap, Vishal–Shekhar, Zeb and Haniya, Shantanu Moitra, Swanand Kirkire, Indian Ocean, Mohit Chauhan, Parikrama, Agnee, Shilpa Rao, Shri, Monica Dogra, Rajasthan Roots, Papon, Rabbi Shergill, Shubha Mudgal, Swarathma, MIDIval Punditz, Humble the Poet, Karsh Kale, Baiju Dharmajan, Njeralathu Harigovindan, Raghu Dixit and Rewben Mashangva.
Kalpana is a 2012 Indian Kannada-language comedy horror film starring Upendra, Saikumar and Lakshmi Rai in the lead roles. Film maker Rama Narayanan directed and produced this movie under his banner Sri Thenaandal Films. The film is a remake of the 2011 Tamil film Kanchana. Saikumar reprises the role of a transgender Kalpana, originally played by Sarath Kumar in the Tamil version. Shruti and Umashri play supporting roles originally played by Devadarshini and Kovai Sarala.
Chirru is a 2010 Kannada romantic action film directed by Mahesh Babu and written by Swamiji. The film stars Chiranjeevi Sarja and Kriti Kharbanda in leading roles whilst Kiran Srinivas plays a brief supporting role. The film was released across Karnataka cinemas on 19 November 2010 to average and mixed response.
Crazy Kutumba is a 2010 Kannada comedy film directed by B. Ramamurthy and produced by Ravi Joshi for Luv Kush Productions banner. The story is a remake of Marathi film De Dhakka (2008) which was inspired from the Hollywood film, Little Miss Sunshine (2006).
Premism is a 2010 Indian Kannada language romantic film directed by Ratnaja of Nenapirali fame. He has teamed up yet again with producer Ajay Gowda and music director Hamsalekha for the third time after Nenapirali and Honganasu in this film. The film mainly stars Chetan Chandra, Amulya and Varun with actor Sunil Raoh making a guest appearance.
Nooru Janmaku is a 2010 Indian Kannada language romantic drama film written and directed by Nagathihalli Chandrashekar and produced by Vinay Lad. Nagathihalli's usual associate Mano Murthy is the music composer for the film. The film stars newcomer Santhosh along with Aindrita Ray and Adarsh Balakrishna of Iqbal fame. The film deals with the recession as the backdrop. Santosh Rai Pathaje is the cinematographer for the film.
Shankar IPS is a 2010 Indian Kannada language action - crime film written and directed by M. S. Ramesh and produced by K. Manju. The film stars Duniya Vijay along with Catherine Tresa, a model making her debut, and Ragini Dwivedi in the lead roles. The film deals with the social issues such as acid attacks on women, the plight of women call centers employees and others. The film was also dubbed in Hindi with the same title name.
Suma Sudhindra is a classical musician and veena exponent from India, in the Carnatic Music genre. She was awarded Karnataka's second highest civilian award, the Rajyotsava Award, in the year 2001.
Vijay Kumar Basavarajaiah, known by his stage name Sanchari Vijay, was an Indian actor known for his work in Kannada cinema. He began his career as a stage actor. He trained on stage from Sanchari Theatre, a culture centre with its own drama troupe, based in Bangalore.

D. Satya Prakash is an Indian filmmaker in Kannada cinema. His works often focus on social issues and human relationships. His debut film was Rama Rama Re... (2016), which is followed by Ondalla Eradalla (2018). His latest venture is Man of the Match (2022). Before making commercial films, Prakash directed the short film Jayanagara 4th block.
Latha, commonly known as Latha Hamsalekha, is an Indian playback singer in Kannada. She is the wife of composer Hamsalekha. For her song Aa Arunodaya Chanda in the movie Arunodaya, Latha was awarded the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer in 1999–2000.
