Shimla Bawri is an Indian politician from Rajasthan. She won the 2013 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Election representing Bharatiya Janata Party from the Anupgarh Vidhan Sabha constituency,a reserved constituency for SC community. [1] [2]
Bawri won the 2013 Assembly Election defeating Shimla Devi Nayak of Indian National Congress by a margin of 11,146 votes. In the 2023 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Election,she lost as an independent candidate to Congress candidate Shimla Devi. [3] [4]
Bhairon Singh Shekhawat was an Indian politician who served as the 11th vice president of India. He served in that position from August 2002,when he was elected to a five-year term by the electoral college following the death of Krishan Kant,until he resigned on 21 July 2007,after losing the presidential election to Pratibha Patil.
