Shimmerplanet, an Indie band created by Soren Anders, released their debut album "Welcome To Shimmerplanet" in 2002. The Songwriters Hall of Fame bestowed special recognition on the first single from that album "No Safe".[citation needed] Welcome To Shimmerplanet was hailed as "one of the most original and enjoyable releases in recent memory" (Gregg Shapiro, Windy City Times).
2006 saw the release of Shimmerplanet's second studio album "For The One Who Kills Tomorrow". The 60's pop iconLesley Gore appears as a guest vocalist on one of the tracks, "Siren". Gore is one of three singers (including Anders) heard on the album; Avant-garde New York vocalist Carolyn Eufrasio returns in her role as Shimmerplanet's Yin, singing lead on many of the new songs. Recorded in New York City, "For The One Who Kills Tomorrow" is a testament to the recording ingenuity of Blake Morgan, who also helmed the studio for Shimmerplanet's debut album, "Welcome to Shimmerplanet". The album was mastered by Grammy-winning producer Phil Nicolo. Carolyn Eufrasio has also toured as Lesley Gore's back-up singer.

They became associated with the UK's indie dance scene in the 1990s, beginning with the release of their debut album Foxbase Alpha in 1991. Their work has been described as uniting 1990s club culture with 1960s pop and other disparate influences. The name of the band comes from the French football club of AS Saint-Étienne.
Artillery are a Danish thrash metal band. They participated in the early development of the genre, and their highly energetic, riff-centric and often fast-paced music is similar in style to that of Voivod, Coroner, Megadeth and Sabbat from the same era. After releasing three full-length albums and touring extensively throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, Artillery disbanded in 1991, but reunited seven years later, only to disband once again in 2000. However, they reformed again in 2007 and are still together today.
SR-71 was an American rock band formed in Baltimore, Maryland. They are best known for their 2000 single "Right Now", their 2002 single "Tomorrow", and as the original authors of Bowling for Soup's 2004 hit "1985". The name of the band came from SR-71 Blackbird, a supersonic surveillance aircraft of the United States Air Force. The band was originally known as Honor Among Thieves, and as would be the case with SR-71, lead singer Mitch Allan was the only constant member.
Michael Trempenau, better known as Mike Tramp, is a Danish singer and songwriter who is best known for his work with the glam metal band White Lion. Since 1998, he has released several solo albums. In 2012, Tramp went on a solo acoustic tour releasing acoustic albums in both 2013 and 2014. He returned with a full band line up in 2015 and in 2017, released the album Maybe Tomorrow, which charted at No. 1 in Denmark.
