Kasautii Zindagii Kay is an Indian Hindi-language television series produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms on Star Plus. The show starred Shweta Tiwari, Cezzane Khan later replaced by Hiten Tejwani, Ronit Roy and Urvashi Dholakia. The show aired from 29 October 2001 to 28 February 2008. The whole series is digitally available on Disney+ Hotstar. The show was one of the most longest running television show of Star Plus.
Kanwarjit Paintal, better known as Paintal, is an Indian actor and comedian. He started off as a comic actor and moved on to teaching the art of acting. His son, Hiten Paintal, is also an actor, who worked in movies such as Dil Maange More (2004) and Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008).
Chandrani Mukherjee is a former Bollywood playback singer, she is a sister-in-law of Bappi Lahiri from West Bengal and a Filmfare nominee.
Chandrani began her career in Bollywood with the film Aag Aur Toofan in 1975. Thereafter she sang in a couple of films until her swan song in Aaj Kie Aurat (1993). She was nominated for the Filmfare Best Female Playback Award thrice though she never won it.
