Shouting At Planes are an Irish alternative indie band from Cavan, Ireland.
The band won a national competition in 2010, which consisted of over 100 bands, with the final prize being a slot at the Glastonbury festival. [1] The band had only been playing together three months at the time when they won this prize. They played to a full house on the Queen's Head Stage at Glastonbury on Saturday 26 June of that year. Shortly afterwards they launched their first single 'Hospice' in August 2010. The attendance at the launch gig in CrawDaddy was such that over 100 people were left outside as the venue had reached capacity. [2] Without any promotion or label backing, the single debuted at 23 in the Irish chart. [3] [4]
October of that year, saw the band play support to Imelda May in front of 3,500 people at the Virginia Pumpkin Festival. A few days later, Shouting At Planes release their second single on 12 November, entitled "So Young". The launch gig was held fronting another packed house at the Button Factory, with support from The Dirty 9's, and MC'd by 2fm's Paddy McKenna. Later that year, the band went on to win another battle of the bands competition, Phantom 105.2 Next Beck's Thing. They finished off the year playing support to Fight Like Apes in The Village on New Year's Eve. [5]
Shouting At Planes released their debut EP titled Surrender The Academy 2 in April 2011 which they performed across Ireland that summer at music festivals including Electric Picnic, Indiependance, Temple House and Le Cheile.

Norman Quentin Cook, also known by his stage name Fatboy Slim, is an English musician, DJ, and record producer who helped to popularise the big beat genre in the 1990s. In the 1980s, Cook was the bassist for the Hull-based indie rock band the Housemartins, who achieved a UK number-one single with their a cappella cover of "Caravan of Love". After the Housemartins split up, Cook formed the electronic band Beats International in Brighton, who produced the number-one single "Dub Be Good to Me". He then played in Freak Power, Pizzaman, and the Mighty Dub Katz with moderate success.

Three consecutive studio albums peaked at number one in the UK official albums chart. Kasabian are an English rock band formed in Leicester in 1997 by lead vocalist Tom Meighan, guitarist and occasional vocalist Sergio Pizzorno, guitarist Chris Karloff, and bassist Chris Edwards. Drummer Ian Matthews joined in 2004. Karloff left the band in 2006 and founded a new band called Black Onassis. Jay Mehler joined as touring lead guitarist in 2006, leaving for Liam Gallagher's Beady Eye in 2013, to be replaced by Tim Carter, who later became a full-time band member in 2021. Meighan left the band in July 2020, with Pizzorno stepping up as full-time lead vocalist.

Two extended plays have also been released; their debut release, titled Leave It On, in October 2005, and the follow-up EP, titled Do You Realise, came out in November 2007. The Delorentos discography consists of a selection of singles which impacted on the Irish Singles Chart, such as "The Rules" in May 2006 and "Stop" in July 2007.
Courteeners are an English band formed in Middleton in 2006 by Liam Fray, Michael Campbell, Daniel "Conan" Moores and Mark Cuppello (bass); the latter was replaced by the band's producer Joe Cross in 2015. They previously toured with pianist Adam Payne, who has been featured on every album, but in 2019 was replaced with Elina Lin. In December 2012, the band dropped "The" from their name, continuing simply as "Courteeners".

Declan Benedict McKenna is an English singer, songwriter, music producer, and political activist. He initially gained recognition for winning the Glastonbury Festival's Emerging Talent Competition in 2015. McKenna self-released the song "Brazil", a protest song criticising FIFA and the 2014 FIFA World Cup held in Brazil, as his debut single in December 2014. The song reached number one on Sirius XM Radio's Alt Nation Alt 18 Countdown for 23 January 2016 and held that spot for three weeks. The song also reached number 16 on the U.S. Billboard Alternative Songs chart. He released his debut studio album, What Do You Think About the Car?, on 21 July 2017. McKenna released his second studio album, Zeros, on 4 September 2020, after multiple delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
