Black Sabbath were an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1968 by vocalist Ozzy Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler and drummer Bill Ward. They are often cited as pioneers of heavy metal music. The band helped define the genre with their first three albums Black Sabbath (1970), Paranoid (1970) and Master of Reality (1971). Following Osbourne's departure in 1979 the band underwent multiple line-up changes, with Iommi being the only constant member throughout their history.

The song was written by Brian Elliot with additional lyrics by Madonna, who produced it alongside Stephen Bray. It was included in the compilation album Celebration (2009). Musically, "Papa Don't Preach" combines pop and classical styling, with lyrics that talk about teenage pregnancy, and the choices that come with it. Elliot was inspired to write it by the teen gossip he would hear outside his recording studio.

Shut Up is the debut studio album by British singer-songwriter Kelly Osbourne. The album is a punk-rock/pop album, released by Epic Records. Released on 26 November 2002, the album was met with a mixed reception from music critics, however, the album was met with disappointing sales which led to her consequent drop from Epic Records. Shut Up was later re-released in 2003 as Changes, featuring her and her father Ozzy's cover of the Black Sabbath song "Changes". The album features a cover of Madonna's song "Papa Don't Preach".
"Shut Up" is the second single released by Kelly Osbourne. It is from her debut album Shut Up. It reached the top 20 of some European charts, but only reached #34 in Australia. It was not as successful as her debut single, a cover of "Papa Don't Preach" by Madonna.

Her father Ozzy also has two older children from his previous 11-year marriage to his first wife Thelma Riley, one of whom is adopted. Aimee is Ozzy's second daughter, the oldest being half-sister Jessica. While her younger siblings Jack and Kelly achieved pop culture fame for appearing in the family's MTV reality series The Osbournes, Aimee declined to appear on the show, feeling that doing so would typecast her and affect her musical career.
