The film is first part of Chakka Panja series and tells the story of Raja ,a rich but illiterate man and his group of friends Ateet(Shivahari Poudel), Saraswati(Jitu Nepal), Magne(Kedar Ghimire) and Buddhi(Buddhi Tamang), Raja who is devoted to the chase gives in to family pressure and gets married but different events unfolds in his and his group of friend's life that gives rise to comedy of errors and situations. The film received highly positive reviews for its screenplay and story, performances, humor and its social setting and message. The film was an " All Time Blockbuster " at the box office breaking several records at the box office was the highest grossing Nepali film of all time until it was overtaken by its 3rd part. However, due to piracy problems, the movie was released on YouTube. Due to the piracy, the international screening of the movie was highly affected. The film had three sequels :- Chhakka Panja 2 Chhakka Panja 3 and Chhakka Panja 4, all of which were commercial blockbusters.Thus, it is the highest grossing Nepali movie franchise.
Truck Driver is a 1994 Romance/Drama Nepalese movie, written by Brazesh Khanal is directed by Rajkumar Sharma. This movie features Shiv Shrestha, Karishma Manandhar, Shree Krishna Shrestha, Madan Krishna Shrestha and Hari Bansha Acharya in the lead roles. This film became one of the highest-grossing films of all time in Nepal. This movie also features the Maha Jodi who were popular comedians at that time. The songs of this film became popular in Nepal. The film was made on a budget of ₹25 lakh, grossed ₹60 lakh, and made ₹25 lakh profit, one of the highest of its time, making it one of the biggest hits in Nepali cinema history.
Chhakka Panja 2, also abbreviated and known as CP2 or C:P 2, is a 2017 Nepalese comedy-drama film directed by Deepa Shree Niraula, with a story written by Bikash Raj Acharya and Samipya Raj Timalsina and a screenplay written by Deepak Raj Giri. It was produced by Kedar Ghimire, Jeetu Nepal, Tara Chandra Bajgain, Dipendra Khaniya, Keshav Neupane, and Suman Giri under the banner of Aama Sarswoti Movies. It is the second film in the Chhakka Panja series. The film stars Deepak Raj Giri, Kedar Ghimire, Buddhi Tamang Priyanka Karki, Swastima Khadka, debutant Swaroop Purush Dhakal and Barsha Raut in the lead roles.

Prakash was made on a budget of around 2.5 crore Nepalese rupees, which makes it one of the most expensive Nepali films.
