Shyam Sunder Singh Dheeraj is a former Minister in Bihar Government and former member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly. Currently Shri Dheeraj is a state working president of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee. [1]

Rajendra Prasad was an Indian independence activist, lawyer, scholar and subsequently, the first president of India, in office from 1950 to 1962. He was an Indian political leader and lawyer by training. Prasad joined the Indian National Congress during the Indian Independence Movement and became a major leader from the region of Bihar. A supporter of Mahatma Gandhi, Prasad was imprisoned by British authorities during the Salt Satyagraha of 1931 and the Quit India movement of 1942. After the constituent assembly 1946 elections, Prasad served as Minister of Food and Agriculture in the central government. Upon independence in 1947, Prasad was elected as President of the Constituent Assembly of India, which prepared the Constitution of India and served as its provisional parliament.
The Lok Janshakti Party is a state political party mainly based in the state of Bihar, India. The party was formed in 2000 when Ram Vilas Paswan split from Janata Dal (United). The party has a considerable following amongst Dalits in Bihar. As of June 2021, Pashupati Kumar Paras is the national president of the party. The party is a member of the National Democratic Alliance. The Party is factioned into two parties Lok Janshakti Party and Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party.
All India Kisan Sabha, was the name of the peasants front of the Communist Party of India, an important peasant movement formed by Sahajanand Saraswati in 1936. It later split into two organizations known by the same name: AIKS and AIKS.
Buta Singh was an Indian politician and a senior leader of the Indian National Congress. He was the Union Home Minister of India, Governor of Bihar and was chairman of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes from 2007 to 2010.
The All India Congress Committee (AICC) is the presidium or the central decision-making assembly of the Indian National Congress. Shri Krishna Sinha, also known as Shri Babu, was the first chief minister of the Indian state of Bihar (1946–61). Except for the period of World War II, Sinha was the chief minister of Bihar from the time of the first Congress Ministry in 1937 until his death in 1961. Along with the Desh Ratna Rajendra Prasad and Bihar Vibhuti Anugrah Narayan Sinha, Sinha is regarded among the 'Architects of Modern Bihar'. He also led the Dalit entry into the Baidyanath Dham temple, which reflected his commitment towards the upliftment and social empowerment of the Dalits. He was the first chief minister in the country to abolish the zamindari system. He underwent different terms of imprisonment for a total of about eight years in British India. Sinha's mass meetings brought hordes of people to hear him. He was known as Bihar Kesari for his lionlike roars when he rose to address the masses. His close friend and eminent Gandhian Bihar Vibhuti A.N. Sinha in his essay Mere Shri Babu wrote that, "Since 1921, the History of Bihar has been the history of the life of Shri Babu".
Sitaram Kesri was an Indian politician and parliamentarian. He became a union minister and served as President of the Indian National Congress from 1996 to 1998.

Sahay was asked to resign in 2012 from his ministerial post by Manmohan Singh in light of favouring his brother in allocation of coal mine blocks in the infamous Coal Scam.

Satyendra Narayan Sinha was an Indian politician and statesman, participant in the Indian independence movement, a leading light of Jaya Prakash Narayan's ‘complete revolution’ movement during the Emergency and a former Chief Minister of Bihar. Affectionately called Chhote Saheb, he was also a seven-time Member of Parliament from the Aurangabad constituency, a three-term Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly, and a Member of the Bihar Legislative Council once. Dr. Anugrah Narayan Sinha, known as Bihar Vibhuti, was an Indian nationalist statesman, participant in Champaran Satyagraha, Gandhian & one of the architects of modern Bihar, who was the first Deputy Chief Minister and the Finance Minister of the Indian state of Bihar (1946–1957). He was also a Member of the Constituent Assembly of India, which was elected to write the Constitution of India and served in its first Parliament as an independent nation. He also held a range of portfolios including Labour, Local Self Government, Public Works, Supply & Price Control, Health and Agriculture. A.N. Sinha, affectionately called Babu Saheb, was a very close associate of Mahatma Gandhi during the freedom struggle movement and worked with Bihar Kesari Dr. Sri Krishna Sinha to lead the Gandhian movement in Bihar One of the leading nationalists in the Indian independence movement from Bihar after Dr Rajendra Prasad, he was elected as the Congress Party deputy leader in the state assembly to assume office as first Deputy Chief Minister cum Finance Minister of independent Bihar, and re-elected when the Congress Party won Bihar's first general election with a massive mandate in 1952.
Ram Dulari Sinha was a nationalist, freedom fighter Indian National Congress, Indian parliamentarian and a Union Minister. She was married to Thakur Jugal Kishore Sinha popularly known as the father of Cooperative Movement in India and an Indian Parliamentarian, he was Member of first Lok Sabha. As a Parliamentarian she is amongst few of those Parliamentarian's who got the opportunity to work with the first three Prime Ministers of India Jawaharlal Nehru, Lal Bahadur Shastri and Indira Gandhi. She was Union Minister in Government's headed by Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi respectively. She was elected Vice Chairman of the International Labour Organization, was the first woman in Bihar to attain a master's degrees and also the first woman from Bihar to be appointed as Governor. She became Governor of Kerala on 23 February 1988 to 12 February 1990.

Maghi is the regional name of the Hindu festival of Makar Sankranti celebrated in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar and Nepal. In Himachal, the festival is also known as Maghi Saaji or Magha Ra Saza. In Bihar and Nepal it is also referred to as Maghi Parva or Maghi Sankranti. Maghi is celebrated on first day of the month of Magh of Hindu Calendar. It follows on the heels of the mid-winter festival of Lohri which is marked by bonfires in North Indian fields and yards. The next morning Hindus see as an auspicious occasion for ritual bathing in ponds and rivers.
Choudhary Mehboob Ali Kaiser is an Indian politician and Member of Parliament from Khagaria Lok Sabha Constituency. He started his political career from Indian National Congress.
