SiGMA Group is a global events and media organization focused on online and offline gaming, emerging technologies, and affiliate marketing. It hosts events in Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Africa. Founded in 2011 by Eman Pulis, the company is headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus.

SiGMA Group operates through six pillars: SiGMA Events, SiGMA Play, SiGMA ADR, SiGMA Brokerage, SiGMA Media, and SiGMA Foundation. [1] [2] [3]

History

SiGMA Group was established in 2011 by Eman Pulis as a private limited company named Viking PC Health Ltd. [4] [5] In 2013, shareholders included the Lotteries and Gaming Authority, Malta Tourism Authority, Chamber of Commerce, media agencies Calvin Ayre and GPWA, and Scandinavian Power Media Group. In 2014, the company held its first event in Malta, an iGaming conference attended by 1500 delegates. [6] [7] [8]

The SiGMA event grew to 2,000 delegates in 2015 and 4,000 delegates in 2016. In 2016, the SiGMA Startup Pitch was launched, and the Careers Convention was introduced to the event. [9] [10] By 2017, the event had grown to accommodate 8,000 delegates and was held for the first time at the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre. [11] During this period, the Affiliate Grand Slam (AGS) was launched, with events in Tallinn and Bucharest. [12]

In 2018, SiGMA launched the AIBC (formerly Malta Blockchain Summit) in conjunction with Malta's new DLT legislation. The Alpha Boot Camp (ABC) was introduced in Buenos Aires, focusing on connecting European online gaming suppliers with LATAM operators. [13] The Affiliate Grand Slam event also took place in Hong Kong. SiGMA's Careers platform was launched on their website. [14] [15]

SiGMA introduced the Affiliate Grand Slam Summit and the Medical Cannabiz Summit in 2019. These events attracted over 15,000 visitors. Additionally, the company launched Cannabiz magazine. [16] [17] The company received appreciation from Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, the President of Malta. [18]

In 2020, the company hosted its first virtual conference, the SiGMA Focus Asia Summit, and launched a website translated into multiple languages. [19] [20] SiGMA held its first international expo outside of Malta, SiGMA Eurasia, in Dubai in 2021. The SiGMA Americas digital summit and the SiGMA Focus Asia digital summit were also held. [21] [22]  

SiGMA received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Private Office of Sheikh Saqer Bin Mohamed Al Qasimi and Sheikh Saqer Bin Mohamed Al Qasimi to Eman Pulis. [23] In 2022, SiGMA hosted over 50,000 participants across four events in different regions. This was followed by new locations – Toronto and Belgrade. [24]

In January 2023, the company planned its first event in Nairobi, Kenya. [25] In February, SiGMA supported Malta's third space bioscience research mission, the Maleth Project III. [26] SiGMA Group acquired the BiS gaming summit in São Paulo and the affiliate site CasinoBee. [27] [28] [29] The same year, the company also held events in Manila. [30] [31] Also in 2023, it opened a new office in India. [32] In 2024, SiGMA Play won the Bonus Comparison Affiliate of the Year award from the Affpapa Awards. [33]
