Sibongile Ndlela-Simelane was Minister for Health for Eswatini from 2013 to 2018 under the government of Barnabas Sibusiso Dlamini. [1] [2] [3] [4] During her time as minister she led calls for lessons from southern Africa's HIV response to be applied to malaria. [5] She also commissioned on World TB Day in 2017 a national drug resistance survey. [6] In 2018 she requested the arrest of an Eswatini Observer journalist who had photographed the cars of government ministers. [7] She also commissioned new offices for the Swaziland Nursing Council. [8]
In 2022 she was appointed Chairperson of the Eswatini Communications Commission (ESSCOM). [1]
Ndlela-Simelane grew up in a single-parent family and announced in 2015 at Bulandzeni Church of the Nazarene that she had never met her father. [9]
Eswatini,officially the Kingdom of Eswatini and also known by its former official name Swaziland and formerly the Kingdom of Swaziland,is a landlocked country in Southern Africa. The formation of the organization in 2002 was prompted by the fact that the Shiselweni region has continued to have high infection rates (42.5% in 2004) as compared to other regions in Eswatini.
Child labour in Eswatini is a controversial issue that affects a large portion of the country's population. Child labour is often seen as a human rights concern because it is "work that deprives children of their childhood,their potential and their dignity,and that is harmful to physical and mental development," as defined by the International Labour Organization (ILO). Additionally,child labour is harmful in that it restricts a child's ability to attend school or receive an education. The ILO recognizes that not all forms of children working are harmful,but this article will focus on the type of child labour that is generally accepted as harmful to the child involved.

Lesbian,gay,bisexual,and transgender (LGBT) people in Eswatini have limited legal rights. According to Rock of Hope,a Swati LGBT advocacy group,"there is no legislation recognising LGBTIs or protecting the right to a non-heterosexual orientation and gender identity and as a result [LGBT people] cannot be open about their orientation or gender identity for fear of rejection and discrimination". Homosexuality is illegal in Eswatini,though this law is in practice unenforced. According to the 2021 Human Rights Practices Report from the US Department of State,"there has never been an arrest or prosecution for consensual same-sex conduct."
Education in Eswatini includes pre-school,primary,secondary and high schools,for general education and training (GET),and universities and colleges at tertiary level.
Constance Simelane is an Eswatini politician who rose to become the first female Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Swaziland. Appointed to the Senate in 2001,Simelane became Minister of Education in 2003. In October 2006 Simelane was appointed Deputy Prime Minister by King Mswati III,succeeding Albert Shabangu who had died a month earlier.

Nurses are now and again engaged in demonstrations over poor working conditions,drug shortages,all of which impairs quality health delivery. Despite tuberculosis and AIDS being major causes of death,diabetes and other non-communicable diseases are on the rise. Primary health care is relatively free in Eswatini save for its poor quality to meet the needs of the people. Road traffic accidents have increased over the years and they form a significant share of deaths in the country.
Lizzy Nkosi is a Swazi politician and the current Minister of Health of Eswatini. In November 2018,King Mswati III announced the formation of his new cabinet and named Nkosi as Minister of Health. She took office on 6 November and succeeded Sibongile Ndlela-Simelane. Nkosi also serves as a Senator.
The Sive Siyinqaba National Movement is a political party in Eswatini. It is led Ngomuyayona Gamedze as of 5 November 2022 as president,taking over from former Minister of Tourism Musa Nkambule and calls for a constitutional monarchy as a replacement for the absolute monarchy currently in place in Eswatini. Sive Siyinqaba National Movement also calls for a government by the people,for the people. The party's official colors blue and yellow stand for peace and wealth.
Capital punishment is a legal penalty in Eswatini,formerly known as Swaziland. Despite its legality,no executions have been carried out since 1983. Therefore,Eswatini is classified as "abolitionist in practice."
