Robert Scott Vick [1] (born March 20, 1973) [1] is an American professional wrestler. He is best known for his appearances with World Championship Wrestling from 1997 to 1999 under the ring name Sick Boy, where he was a member of Raven's Flock. [2] Scott grew up in Colmbia, SC. Scott moved to Hilton Head, Sc. In 1991 while in High School Scott's first contact with professional wrestling first took place. Scott was approached by a talent scout with World Championship Wrestling. 1992 Scott was an All-American in football and was named to the National Prep Magazine's Top 100 High School football players in the nation. After high school in 1993, Scott attended the University of Cincinnati on a football scholarship. Scott later transferred to the University of South Carolina where his football career was cut short by a serious knee injury. In 1996 he signed a contract with WCW. In 1999 Scott signed with WWE. Vick was trained at the WCW Power Plant. Vicks first match on Monday night nitro against Chris Benoit it was the third match of his career. He left The Flock when Perry Saturn defeated Raven and won the freedom of the members of The Flock. After the Flock split-up Vick and WCW could not come to terms on the development of a new character. Vick was released from WCW in 1999. October 1999 Vick signed a booking contract With WWE. Originally Vick was to be involved in a story line with Val Venis. Due to the direction of the Val Venis character the story line was dropped. Between 2000 and 2002 Vick made frequent appearances with World Wrestling Entertainment, wrestling in dark matches and would begin training in WWE's developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling. Between 2003 and 2004 Vick had tryouts with the CFL and the NFL. 2004 Vick was brought back in the WWE for a possible story line that involved Kane and Triple H. Soon after the story line ended, and Vick left WWE. Vick also has a fitness consulting company that he started in 2003. Vick wrestled a WWE dark match during March 2005 but disappeared from wrestling again soon afterwards.

Professional wrestling career

World Championship Wrestling (1996–1999)

After training at the WCW Power Plant, he made his professional wrestling on September 25, 1996 when he defeated Luther Biggs in a dark match. He made his television debut on the March 31, 1997 episode of Nitro under the ring name Lance Ringo, where he lost to Diamond Dallas Page. [4] [5]

Several months later, Vick competed on the November 24 episode of Nitro as Sick Boy, where he was also revealed to be a member of Raven's Flock. His third match of his career was a loss to Chris Benoit. [6] Sick Boy received his first title match as he competed against Page for the United States Heavyweight Championship on the January 29, 1998 episode of Thunder , but was unsuccessful in winning the title. [7] He faced Page in a rematch for the title on the February 17 episode of Saturday Night , but was again unsuccessful. [4] He then continued to wrestle in many feuds with Chris Benoit, Diamond Dallas Page, Steve McMichael, Bill Goldberg and others.

Sick Boy would then be used as a jobber for several months afterwards, and remained with the Flock until its disbanding on September 13 at Fall Brawl. In 1999, Vick dropped the grungy attire associated with the Flock and adopted wrestling trunks in addition to dyeing his hair blond. [8] [9] On the July 22 episode of Thunder, he wrestled his last match for the company as he faced Rick Steiner in a match for the World Television Championship, but was unsuccessful in winning the title. World Wrestling Federation (1999–2002)

In October 1999, Vick signed a booking contract with the World Wrestling Federation. He appeared on Heat and Metal until his release. [1] [2]

Independent circuit (2012–2015, 2021)

On November 2, 2014, Sick Boy and Lodi reunited to win the WrestleForce Tag Team Championship from The Bravado Brothers. The Flock lost the titles against The Bravado Brothers on February 8, 2015.

Sick Boy returned for a match one night with Lodi on June 19, 2021 as they defeated CW Anderson and Preston Quinn at Ring Wars Carolina. [11]
