Siebnen-Wangen railway station is a railway station in the Swiss canton of Schwyz and municipality of Wangen. The station is located on the Lake Zurich left-bank railway line, owned by the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), and takes its name from Wangen and the adjacent village of Siebnen. [1] [2]

Siebnen-Wangen has a 322-metre (1,056 ft) island platform with two tracks (Nos. 3–4). [3] PostAuto Schweiz operates bus services from the station to Innerthal, Uznach, Reichenburg, and Pfäffikon. [4]

The Ziegelbrücke–Linthal railway, is a single-track standard-gauge line in Switzerland. It was opened in two stages and by two railway companies. The line from Weesen via Näfels-Mollis to Glarus was opened on 15 February 1859 by the United Swiss Railways. It was opened with the Rüti–Rapperswil–Weesen line. The line from Glarus via Schwanden to Linthal was opened on 1 June 1879 by the Swiss Northeastern Railway.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">S6 (St. Gallen S-Bahn)</span>

The S6 is a railway service of the St. Gallen S-Bahn that provides hourly service between Rapperswil and Schwanden, in the cantons of St. Gallen and Glarus. A limited number of trains continue from Schwanden to Linthal. Südostbahn, a private company primarily owned by the federal government and the canton of St. Gallen, operates the service.

The S27 is a rush-hour railway service that connects the Swiss municipalities of Wangen and Ziegelbrücke. Despite its name, it is not formally part of the St. Gallen S-Bahn or Zürich S-Bahn networks. Südostbahn, a private company primarily owned by the federal government and several cantons, operates the service.
