Sierra Kilo Alpha is the second studio album by the Australian ska band Melbourne Ska Orchestra. The album was released in April 2016.
At the ARIA Music Awards 2016, the album won the ARIA Award for Best World Music Album. [3]

Catherine Yvette Ceberano is an Australian singer and actress who performs in the soul, jazz, and pop genres, as well as in film and musicals such as Jesus Christ Superstar. Her single "Bedroom Eyes" received a platinum sales certification in 1989. The Cat Empire are an Australian jazz/funk band, formed in Melbourne, Victoria, in 1999. For most of the band's duration, the core members were Felix Riebl, Harry James Angus, Will Hull-Brown (drums), Jamshid "Jumps" Khadiwhala, Ollie McGill and Ryan Monro. Monro retired from the band in March 2021, while Angus, Hull-Brown and Khadiwhala all left in April 2022. They are often supplemented by The Empire Horns, a brass duo composed of Ross Irwin (trumpet) and Kieran Conrau (trombone), among others. Their sound is a fusion of jazz, funk, ska, and rock with heavy Latin influences.
Human Nature are an Australian pop vocal group, which formed in 1989, as a quartet featuring Toby Allen, Phil Burton and brothers, Andrew and Mike Tierney. Originally they were established as a doo-wop group, called the 4 Trax, when the members were schoolmates.

They have also won two ARIA Awards for Best Urban Release for their 2008 album Flying Colours and for Best Music Video for their 2017 single "Moments". Eso, under his alias Esoterik, released an album entitled "My Astral Plane" in May 2018.
Wouter André "Wally" De Backer, known professionally as Gotye, is a Belgian-born Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. His 2011 single "Somebody That I Used to Know", reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the best-selling song of 2012. Nicholas Caruana, also known as Nicky Bomba, is an Australian musician and singer-songwriter. He is the leader of the ARIA Award-winning Melbourne Ska Orchestra, frontman of his band, Bomba, as well as the former drummer and percussionist of John Butler Trio. He has performed in other acts and as a solo artist. His youngest sister, Danielle Caruana,, is married to his former bandmate, John Butler. His older brother, Michael Caruana, is a member of Bomba and of Mama Kin's backing band.

Violent Soho were an Australian alternative rock band that was formed in 2004 in the Brisbane suburb of Mansfield, Queensland, originally under the name of "showroom". For the majority of the band's existence, the line-up was composed of Luke Boerdam, James Tidswell, Luke Henery and Michael Richards. Their sound has been compared to that of 1980s and 1990s alternative rock bands such as the Pixies, Mudhoney,Smashing Pumpkins, and Nirvana. Although being largely described as grunge, the band self described themselves as a "stoner pop" band. The band's third studio album, Hungry Ghost, was certified Gold in Australia in September 2014. Their fourth album, Waco, debuted at number 1 on the Australian ARIA Charts in 2016. The band's fifth album, Everything Is A-OK, was released on 3 April 2020 and also debuted at number 1 on the ARIA charts.

Her band Opelousas, a trio with Allison Ferrier and Anthony 'Shorty' Shortte, won Music Victoria Awards in 2024 for best blues work, and best blues album in 2019 with Opelousified. Simpson's album Confessin' the Blues was nominated for a 1999 ARIA Award for Best Blues & Roots Album. In 2005 Simpson won Chain Australia Blues Music Awards for best female vocals.
Alpha Wolf is an Australian metalcore band originally from Burnie, Tasmania and currently located in Melbourne, Victoria. Bassist and founding vocalist John Arnold stated that "the name Alpha Wolf came from the movie The Grey". Their debut album Mono was released in July 2017 and peaked at number 29 on the ARIA Albums Chart.
