Signs is an American reggaeton duet from Springfield, Massachusetts. Originally a trio, the group eventually became a duo composed of Yarimar Huertas and Yalixia Figueroa.
The group was originated by member Yarimar, Tarrah & Kiara for a fifth grade talent show. Yarimar's mother, Margie Rosario, set about developing an act based on their singing and dancing, under the name Spring Girls (because of Springfield), which included Yarimar, Kiara Smith & Tarrah Garvy. The girls performed a medley of songs popular at the time (Brandy's "Have You Ever?", Britney Spears's "...Baby One More Time", Monica's "Angel of Mine", Cher's "Believe", and TLC's "No Scrubs").
The girls enjoyed their time together so much that after the talent show the girls decided to cement the band. Margie Rosario became the girls’ manager and decided on keeping the girls unsigned until they turned 18. The girls went through several name changes and line-up changes between 2000 and 2006. Eventually the girls settled on the name Signs because the girls all had different astrological signs.
In late 2006 the band featured lead singer Yakasty Abreu, Elizabeth Espiritusanto, Syntasia Gray, LaKeya Wilson, Annie Lee & Shannon Johnson. This particular line-up was short lived when member Rashell Gordon was added to the group. Before this all member changes in the group seemed friendly but disputes between Shannon and the other girls caused the group to temporarily split. Yarimar rejoined with Syntasia and new members Stephanie Rosado (who was Yari’s cousin) and Veronica Colon (who was Stephanie's brother's girlfriend).
Due to her pregnancy, Veronica Colon has left the group and manager Margie has replaced her with 17-year-old Yalixia Figueroa. Syntasia Gray and Stephanie Rosado also have left but the girls decided on making the band a duo only.
During the years the girls have been together some of them have also done some solo endeavors.
Yakasty Abreu and Elizabeth Espiritusanto have done several solo performances outside of the band and have stated that "If things don't work out with the girls then we can always do our own solo thing."
Yarimar Huertas considers her vocal skills to be very weak and probably wouldn’t be a singer on her own. She has however gone into the field of modeling and at one point was a Barbizon model.
Syntasia Gray has also done solo singing projects. Besides music Syntasia is also a published poet.
Yalixia Figueroa has also stepped into the field of modeling and has done several runway shows.
Between 2005 and 2007 the girls have been in the studio recording songs. Even when members were changed no song was re-recorded to include new vocals. The list of songs are:

The band frequently covers songs from several different female artist including Janet Jackson, Destiny's Child, Rihanna, Brandy, Aaliyah, and Monica. The only exception to this is when the girls make a female version of male songs or do a dance interlude to them while catching their breath. They have also covered Iron Maiden's Run to the hills.
Monica Denise Arnold is an American singer, rapper and actress. Born and raised in College Park, Georgia, she began performing as a child and joined a traveling gospel choir by the age of ten. Monica signed with record producer Dallas Austin through his label Rowdy Records in 1993, and gained prominence following the release of her debut studio album, Miss Thang (1995). Her follow up releases were met with further commercial success; her second, The Boy Is Mine (1998) remains her best-selling album and spawned three singles that peaked atop the Billboard Hot 100: "The Boy Is Mine", "The First Night" and "Angel of Mine".
Poco was an American country rock band originally formed in 1968 after the demise of Buffalo Springfield. Guitarists Richie Furay and Jim Messina, former members of Buffalo Springfield, were joined by multi-instrumentalist Rusty Young, bassist Randy Meisner, and drummer George Grantham. Meisner quit the band while they were recording their first album, Pickin' Up the Pieces, though his bass and backing vocal parts were kept in the final mix. He was replaced by Timothy B. Schmit in 1969, and Messina left in 1970 to be replaced by Paul Cotton. The line-up would change numerous times over the next several decades, with Rusty Young being the only constant member. A reunion of the founding members occurred in the late 1980s-early 1990s, and the band has continued in some form through 2021, though they retired from active touring in 2013, with Young citing health concerns as the primary cause of his retirement. Young died from a heart attack in April 2021.

They are known for their chart-topping 1972 hit song "Brandy ", which reached #1 on both the US Billboard Hot 100 and Cash Box Top 100 charts, remaining in the top position for one week. They were part of the Jersey Shore sound.
Little Texas is an American country music band started in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1988. Its founding members were Tim Rushlow, Brady Seals, Del Gray (drums), Porter Howell, Dwayne O'Brien, and Duane Propes. Signed to Warner Bros. Records Nashville in 1991, Little Texas released its debut album First Time for Everything that year. The album's lead off single, "Some Guys Have All the Love", reached a peak of No. 8 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. Little Texas charted thirteen top-40 hits between then and 1995, including the number one "My Love" in 1994. It was written by LaShawn Daniels, Japhe Tejeda, Fred Jerkins III, Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, and Brandy, while production was helmed by Jerkins, Brandy, and Dallas Austin. It was released as the lead single from both singers' second albums from 1998, Never Say Never by Brandy and the album of the same name by Monica. The 54th Annual Miss Puerto Rico Universe pageant was held at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum on October 22, 2008, in Hato Rey section of San Juan, Puerto Rico. A record of 70 contestants competed for the crown, in which the competition was televised live by WAPA-TV. On October 11, 2008, the show entered its final stage when twelve finalists elected by the public remained.
Puerto Rico competed at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico from October 14 to 30, 2011. Puerto Rico sent 250 athletes in 30 sports. It was the most successful Panamerican games for Puerto Rico, going from a maximum of three gold medals to winning six in these games.
"It All Belongs to Me" is a duet by American recording artists Monica and Brandy. Written and produced by Rico Love, Earl Hood, and Eric Goudy II, the track belonged to singer R. Kelly. He then gave the song to Monica and the label presented the song to Brandy, who expressed her wish to record a duet. After Clive Davis authorized it, they went to a recording studio located in Miami, Florida to record the track. Three different versions were made, with one being released as the official lead single from Monica's seventh studio album New Life on February 10, 2012, through RCA Records. Professional wrestling has been considered one of the most popular forms of entertainment in Puerto Rico for more than fifty years. It is considered the highest source of income in the sports entertainment industry on the island; a minor industry within its tertiary sector in its overall economy. After sports commentator José Antonio Géigel and a group of wrestlers founded the first promotion based in Puerto Rico, the discipline has consistently remained being broadcast in local television. Originally a mixture of foreign wrestling styles, the Puerto Rican wrestling style developed into a unique form of performing. Most notably, local promotions relied on unusual matches, often involving foreign objects or odd arenas. Local wrestling is considered to be one of the pillars that contributed to modern hardcore wrestling, being the territory where the first "fire" and "death" matches took place. Local promotions exploited the innovation and held their cards in large stadiums, eventually becoming an element of popular culture. During the course of six decades, Carlos Colón Sr. has developed over 70 scars in his forehead that are product of this method of performing, becoming the main symbol of the style's nature. The storylines in Puerto Rico have historically revolved around the "foreign heel" formula, with local wrestlers obtaining victories over notable figures that include Ric Flair, Harley Race, Hulk Hogan, Terry Funk, Diamond Dallas Page, Scott Hall, Booker T, Samoa Joe and Curt Hennig among several others.
La Makina was a Puerto Rican merengue band formed in the 1990s. The group was organized by Fernando Colon and Orlando Santana. Several of the group's songs have ranked on the Hot Latin Songs chart in the United States. The band received a nomination for Tropical New Artist of the Year at the 1997 Lo Nuestro Awards. The band was led by its lead singer Anthony Maldonado who left the group in 2000 to pursue his own solo career.
