Cecilie Maag Struck (born 16 December 1998) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for English Women's Super League club Bristol City. [4] [5]

Club career

Odense Q (2017–2019)

Struck transferred from VSK Aarhus to Odense Q of the Danish Women's League on 10 August 2017. [6] She debuted on 23 August 2017 against Fortuna Hjørring, in which she scored her first goal for Odense Q. [7]

FC Thy-Thisted Q (2019–2020)

Struck played for FC Thy-Thisted Q in the Danish Women's Cup final in July 2020, which her team lost to FC Nordsjælland 1–0. [8]

Rayo Vallecano (2020–2022)

Struck's transfer to Liga F club Rayo Vallecano in October 2020 was the first paid international transfer of a female player in the history of FC Thy-Thisted Q. [9] She signed a one-year contract with the club. [10]

Levante Las Planas (2022–2023)

Struck signed with Liga F club Levante Las Planas on 9 September 2022. [4]

Bristol City (2023–present)

On 13 September 2023, Struck signed for newly promoted English Women's Super League side Bristol City. [11]

The 1927–28 Danmarksmesterskabsturneringen i Fodbold was the 1st edition of the new year-long league structure for the Danish national football championship play-offs, a Danish FA-organised club football tournament between the highest ranking clubs from each of the six regional football associations. The national tournament at the top of the Danish football league system consisted of two stages, a preliminary round contested by 20 teams split into 5 groups determined by draw and distributed evenly among all regional associations, where the five winners of each group would qualify for the final championship round held at the end of the season. The clubs participating in the nationwide competition were also simultaneously contesting in their local regional league championships.

The Danish Women's League is a semi-professional top-flight league for women's football in Denmark. It is organised by the Danish Football Association (DBU) as part of the nation-wide Danmarksturneringen i kvindefodbold (Kvinde-DM) and is placed as the first division of the Danish football league system. Clubs in the league must meet certain criteria concerning appropriate facilities and finances. All of the league's clubs qualify for the proper rounds of the DBU KvindePokalen. The top teams of each season qualify for the UEFA Women's Champions League.

The 2021–22 Danish Women's 1st Division was the thirteenth season of the Danish nation-wide second-tier association football division since its establishment in 1992 as part of the Danmarksturneringen i kvindefodbold's nation-wide league structure. The two or multiple group format of the second division was abolished and a single division format was reintroduced for the first time since the 2012–13 season and with fewer clubs partaking.
