"Kapoor Family", also called "The First Family of Indian Cinema", is a family with at least 5 generations of descendants over 93 years in the Indian film industry. Numerous members of the family, both biological descendants and those married into the family, have had prolific careers as actors, film directors and producers. The genesis generation or the earliest linear generation of the Kapoor family tree to ever act in the films was Prithviraj Kapoor's father, Basheshwarnath Kapoor, who debuted as actor in 1951 film Awaara, which was produced, directed and starred in lead role by his grandson Raj Kapoor.

"Chammak Challo" is a song performed by Akon and Hamsika Iyer, and composed by Akon, Giorgio Tuinfort as well as music director duo Vishal-Shekhar and by Gobind Singh, as a part of the soundtrack for the 2011 Bollywood film Ra.One. It is Akon's first musical collaboration with Indian artists. There are four other versions of the song in the album, including a remix by Abhijit Vaghani, another remix by DJ Khushi and an international version sung solely by Akon. The song, along with the rest of the soundtrack, was officially released on 12 September 2011. However, the song faced controversy when the rough version was leaked on the Internet on 31 May 2011.

Laal Singh Chaddha is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film directed by Advait Chandan from a screenplay written by Eric Roth and Atul Kulkarni. The film is produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom18 Studios and Paramount Pictures. An adaptation of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump which itself based on Winston Groom's 1986 novel of the same name, the film stars Aamir Khan as the titular character along with Kareena Kapoor and Naga Chaitanya.
