Simon Beecroft is a British author. His best known book is the New York Times bestselling book Lego Star Wars: The Visual Dictionary , [1] [2] [3] [4] which has sold more than 2,000,000 copies. [5] and which in 2016 is held in more than 1000 libraries. [6] In all, he has written more than 30 other books, primarily for children. Many of his books are about the Star Wars Universe [7] [8] [9] and are written in non-fiction style.

Selected works include Star Wars The Clone Wars: Watch Out For Jabba the Hutt, Star Wars: Luke Skywalker’s Amazing Story, The Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, [10] and Star Wars: Beware the Dark Side, published by Dorling Kindersley (DK). Beecroft is also an editor at DK. [11] and is director of the company's licensing division. [12]

He has also written books on subjects as diverse as dinosaurs, monsters, [13] extreme weather, future technology, Nelson Mandela, Power Rangers, and the Fantastic Four.

Beecroft lives in London, England, with his wife, Katie, and two children.

Anthony Daniels portrays C-3PO in all the Skywalker Saga films and the standalone film Rogue One, and voices the droid in the animated film The Clone Wars. Speeder bikes and swoop bikes are small, fast transports that use repulsorlift engines in the fictional Star Wars universe. His reference book, Star Wars: The Ultimate Visual Guide, was listed on the New York Times Best Seller list for three weeks in 2005.

<i>Ahsoka</i> (novel) 2016 novel by E. K. Johnston

Ahsoka, also known as Star Wars: Ahsoka, is a Star Wars young adult novel written by E. K. Johnston, from an outline by Dave Filoni, published in October 2016. Set between the events of the 3D CGI animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels (2014–2018) and Disney+ TV series Ahsoka (2023), it is centered on the character Ahsoka Tano, the former apprentice of Anakin Skywalker. In 2020, Ahsoka's role in the Siege of Mandalore and Order 66, described in the novel as backstory, was adapted as the four-part series finale of the revival of The Clone Wars, written by Filoni and directed by Saul Ruiz and Nathaniel Villanueva. In 2022, the main events of Ahsoka were adapted as "Resolve", the first-season finale of Tales of the Jedi, written by Filoni and directed by Ruiz.

Wesley King is a Canadian author of young adult fiction books. Both his novels with the late Kobe Bryant debuted at #1 on The New York Times Best Seller list. He currently resides in Lake Echo, Nova Scotia.
