1000Fryd is a small café, bar, and community center with a stage, a recording studio, a cinema, and an art gallery, located in Aalborg, Denmark. Since 1000Fryd opened in 1984 there have been thousands of concerts by both well known bands – such as Die Toten Hosen and Green Day – and utterly obscure local performers, such as Jimmy Justice and Columbian Neckties. Milosevic on Trial, also known as Slobodan Milosevic – Præsident under Anklage, is a documentary by Danish director Michael Christoffersen that follows the trial of Slobodan Milošević from 2002 until his death in 2006. The documentary has won several awards, and has been in competition at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival, at Hot Docs '08, and at the 6th Silverdocs festival in Washington DC. The showing at Silverdocs was followed by a panel discussion with former NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe, Wesley Clark.

The Bodil Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role is one of the merit categories presented by the Danish Film Critics Association at the annual Bodil Awards. Created in 1948, it is one of the oldest film awards in Europe, and it honours the best performance by an actress in a leading role in a Danish produced film. The jury can decide not to hand out the award; this has happened 12 times since 1953.

Engelsborgskolen is a public primary school in the western part of Kongens Lyngby, Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality, Copenhagen, Denmark. Inaugurated in 1909, it is the oldest active school in Lyngby-Taarbæk. Ole Svane Thestrup was a Danish actor. He appeared in many Danish films, particularly those directed by Anders Thomas Jensen, as well as television and theatre roles. He had a recurring role in the political drama series Borgen.
Love Shop is a Danish pop rock band. The band was formed in 1986 by vocalist/songwriter Jens Unmack and guitarist/producer Hilmer Hassig, later joined by harmonicist Henrik Hall. They found great success in Denmark with their debut album 1990, which went on to win the Danish Grammy for Pop Album of the Year, and are well known for songs such as "En nat bliver det sommer", "Love Goes On Forever" and "Copenhagen Dreaming".
