In September 2024, Andrian won the $800 Ultra Deepstack No-Limit Hold'em (WSOP Bracelet Event #15) at the World Series of Poker Online International for $156,230 besting a field of 1,635. [3]

The defending champion is Simone Andrian having defeated Estonian amateur Urmo Velvelt in an aggressively played heads-up with none, or little to none, limp-checks. [2] [5]

The winning hand was 10 10, raising against A 10, which hold on a board of 6 2 9 7 K after a 50 big blinds 5-bet shove all-in pre-flop by Velvelt who was covered by Andrian. [5] [6]

Andrian is one of the players that have transitioned well into playing with a big blind ante in that he "defends" (calls) with almost every hand when in the big blind facing a minraise.[ citation needed ]
