Dennis O'Keefe was an American actor and screenwriter.
Meridian Hall is a performing arts venue in Toronto, Ontario, and it is the country's largest soft-seat theatre. The facility was constructed for the City of Toronto municipal government and is currently managed by TO Live, an arms-length agency and registered charity created by the city. Located at 1 Front Street East, the venue opened as the O'Keefe Centre on October 1, 1960. From 1996 to 2007, the building was known as the Hummingbird Centre for the Performing Arts. From 2007 to 2019, it was known as the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts. On September 15, 2019, it was re-branded as Meridian Hall.
Ian Bruce Turpie, sometimes referred to as Turps, was an Australian performer, actor, pop singer and presenter. He was the host of the teen pop music TV show, The Go!! Show (1965–66) and various TV game shows, The Price Is Right, and Supermarket Sweep (1992–1994). As a TV actor he portrayed Keith Warne on Swift and Shift Couriers and Wazza and Narrator in Housos (2011). He was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer in 2011 and died the following year, aged 68.

Bryan Davies is a British-born Australian pop music singer and entertainer. He appeared on 1960s TV pop shows, Sing! Sing! Sing! and Bandstand. From March 1962, at age 17, he became the youngest person in Australia to host their own TV show, The Bryan Davies Show. The singer issued two albums, On My Way (1965) and Together by Myself (1968). His most popular singles were, "Dream Girl" and "Five Foot Two Eyes of Blue" (October), which both reached the top 4 on the Sydney charts.
The 4th Annual TV Week Logie Awards were presented on Saturday 31 March 1962 at the Chevron Hotel on St Kilda Road, Melbourne. The awards presentation was telecast live in a half-hour broadcast on ABV-2,, with delayed transmission on ABC stations in other cities over the following days. Gerald Lyons from the ABC was the Master of Ceremonies. Game show host Bob Dyer was on hand to present awards. Winning the Gold Logie was a joint honour that year with entertainer Tommy Hanlon Jr and variety host Lorrae Desmond, winning the coveted award, in doing so, Desmond was the first woman on Australian television to win the Gold.
Nestle Chocolateers is an old-time radio musical program in the United States. It was broadcast on NBC-Blue in the early 1930s. The name is often found in publications as Nestle's Chocolateers. The 30-minute program's title came from its sponsorship by the Nestle Chocolate Company. It debuted September 5, 1930.
Where The Action Is was an Australian television show that aired from January to November 1966. It starred Johnny O'Keefe and was produced by the newly launched TEN Network. The concept revolved around O'Keefe traveling to locations around Sydney, and later in the show's run, around Australia. Each episode would feature guest stars that would sing many of their current hits.
