Sinokrot Holding is the largest family-owned business group in the Palestinian territories, established in 1982. It is based in Ramallah, operating in 20,000 m2 of buildings with 350 employees. The company sells from more than 4,000 outlets. The chairman, Mazen Tawfiq Sinokrot, who was a Minister of National Economy until March 2006, as well as Chairman of the Board for the Palestine Standards Institute, Palestine Investment and Promotion Agency, and Palestine Industrial Zones and Free Zones Authority.

The Sinokrot family has worked in food products since 1982, when the company began manufacturing candies, chocolate, and other confectioneries in its first Ramallah factory. Sinokrot has also established the following ventures:

The moshav was captured and destroyed by the Jordanian Arab Legion during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. Atarot Airport, closed since the Second Intifada, and Jerusalem's largest industrial park are now located there.

Bir Nabala is a Palestinian enclave town in the West Bank located eight kilometers northeast of Jerusalem, in Palestine. In mid-year 2006, it had an estimated population of 6,100 residents. By 2017, the population was 6,004 Three Bedouin tribes — Abu Dhak, Tel al ‘Adassa and Jahalin — live in Bir Nabala. Bir Nabala has a built-up area of 1,904 dunams, which combined with nearby al-Jib, Beit Hanina al Balad and al-Judeira form an enclave in the Seam Zone, walled in by the Israeli West Bank barrier.

Samir Hulileh (also Hleileh, Huleileh, Arabic سمير حليلة), born in Kuwait in 1957, is considered one of Palestine's leading business people and is the Chief Executive Officer of Palestine Development and Investment Ltd. (PADICO). He represents PADICO HOLDING on several boards of subsidiary companies, including Palestine Telecommunications Group (PALTEL), Palestine Securities Exchange (PSE), Palestine Real Estate Investment Company (PRICO), and Palestine Mortgage and Housing Corporation (PMHC). He is also Chairman of Jericho Gate Real Estate Investment. After receiving an MA in Economics from the American University of Beirut in 1983, Hulileh went on to join the board of the Palestine Banking Corporation, in 1988, after which he became the Managing Director of the Ramallah branch of The Portland Trust. He was also Cabinet Secretary to the Palestinian Authority in 2006. He was former Assistant Under Secretary for the Ministry of the Economy and Trade between 1994 and 1997. He is also chairman of the board of Palestine International Business Forum and chairman of Portland Trust, Ramallah. He serves as an advisory board member of the one Voice movement. He also is on the board of the Palestinian-British Business Council, Palestinian-Russian Business Council, and Palestine Economic Policy Research Institute (MAS). He is also a member of the board of trustees of the Friends Schools in Ramallah and The International Chamber of Commerce and is the Chairman of Birzeit University Alumni Association. He has also been the chairman of the board of the Palestine Trade Organisation (PalTRADE) and has represented Palestinian businesses and Palestinian economic development across the world. He graduated with an MSc Economics from the American University of Beirut (1983). He has worked at Birzeit University. He was one of the board of directors for the Palestinian Banking Corporation and also serves on the board of the Applied Research Institute (ARIJ) in Bethlehem and the Arab Thought Forum in Jerusalem.

In 2013, Khaled received the Takreem Award for Young Entrepreneur at their highly publicized awards ceremony in Paris, France. In October 2014, Khaled was featured on the cover of Forbes Middle East with the caption beside his picture reading "Industry of the Impossible" in Arabic along with the a feature article titled "The Good Deed" in English. On November 25, 2014 Khaled received the Young Alumni Achievement Medal from the University of Waterloo’s Faculty of Engineering in Canada, one of the most renowned faculties of engineering in the world. In 2015 Khaled was selected as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.

The Palestine Investment Fund is an independent investment company aiming to strengthen the Palestinian economy through strategic investments, while maximising long-run returns for its ultimate shareholder; the people of Palestine. Established in 2003, it was created by a transfer of assets previously managed by the Palestinian Authority. Since January 2009, Mohammad Mustafa has been the chairman and co-president of the company.
