Sisanie Villaclara (born March 31, 1984, known professionally as just Sisanie) is an American radio DJ, talk show host and radio music director. Since 2015, she has been the morning show co-host at On Air With Ryan Seacrest which is syndicated nationally in the United States. [1] [2]

Early life and education

From 2002 to 2007 she attended San Diego State University and studied art with emphasis in multimedia. [2] [3]

Career

In 2004, at 19 years, she started out as intern at iHeartMedia (formerly Clear Channel) in San Diego, CA. [3] In 2007, she was promoted to DJ and midday personality at 102.7 KIIS FM, Los Angeles, CA. [3] A few later she picked up the same role at a sister radio station Channel 933” KHTS in San Diego. [4] She also hosted middays for iHeart stations across the United States. [4]

Occasionally she would be a substitute host on On Air With Ryan Seacrest. [1]

In December 2015, following the departure Ellen K. from On Air With Ryan Seacrest, Villaclara officially became the co-host. [1]

Villaclara also runs a solo show at KIIS-FM from 10-11am PST and hosts the podcast “Twinning with Sisanie.” [4]

Since 2017, Sisanie has filled in for Kelly Ripa on the TV talk show Live with Kelly and Ryan several times. [5] [6] [3]

In July 2022, she was promoted from the role of music coordinator to music director at KIIS FM. [4] [7]

Personal life

Villaclara is married to husband Michael since January 2014. [8] They have 3 kids, twins (a boy named Maxon and girl named Aiza) born in 2018, [9] and another girl (named Siveya) born in August 2021. [8] [10] [11]

<i>On Air with Ryan Seacrest</i> American syndicated radio program

On Air with Ryan Seacrest is a weekday syndicated radio program hosted by Ryan Seacrest. It was launched in 2004 as a drive time show at the same time on Los Angeles Top 40 station 102.7 KIIS-FM as the television show with the same name, although Seacrest had hosted a similar show in afternoon drive time on sister station Star 98.7 KYSR from 1995 until 2003. The TV series ran for several months in 2004, but nationwide syndication of the radio program did not start until 2008. While Seacrest hosted his Los Angeles show in the morning, the syndicated show's affiliates aired it in middays or afternoons. The syndicated show took segments from Seacrest's live Los Angeles wake up show and packaged them with music, so listeners in other cities could hear them later in the day or the following day. The live radio show originated its broadcast from the KIIS-FM studios in Burbank, California. KIIS-FM is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc.

Ellen K. is an American radio personality in the Los Angeles, California market and a television host. She is the host of the Ellen K Radio Show on KOST 103.5 FM, and the nationally-syndicated weekend program Ellen K Weekend Show on iHeartMedia AC-formatted stations like Lite FM in New York and in Chicago. From April 1990 to October 2015 she worked at KOST's sister station 102.7 KIIS-FM, co-hosting the Rick Dees morning show and later the On Air with Ryan Seacrest show. On October 19, 2015, Ellen took over the morning show at KOST after longtime morning host Mark Wallengren moved to afternoons.

She is currently senior producer of On Air with Ryan Seacrest, In 2016, Rodriguez led a grassroots campaign that convinced MAC Cosmetics to create a collection honouring the late Tejano superstar Selena Quintanilla.
