Released as the album's first single on September 25, 2000, it became a worldwide hit the following year, peaking at number one in Portugal, number two in Australia and New Zealand, number five in the United Kingdom, and number nine in the United States. It was the eighth-most-played song on Canadian radio in 2001.
The Puppini Sisters is an English close harmony vocal trio composed of Italian-born singer Marcella Puppini and English singers Kate Mullins and Emma Smith. Although the three are not related, the name was chosen in tribute to the Andrews Sisters. They are known for providing guest vocals on Michael Bublé's cover of "Jingle Bells". Puppini first studied fashion design at Saint Martins School of Art, and later music at Trinity College of Music in London where she met Mullins and original member Rosanna Schura, who was later replaced by Stephanie O'Brien. After eight years with the group, O'Brien was replaced by Emma Smith. The trio are backed by a three-piece band featuring Martin Kolarides on guitar, Henrik Jensen on double bass and Peter Ibbetson on drums. The group is associated with a burlesque revival.

The discography of Scissor Sisters, an American pop group, consists of four studio albums, two extended plays, seventeen singles, two video albums and seventeen music videos. The band was formed in New York City in 2001 by Babydaddy, Jake Shears, Ana Matronic, Del Marquis and Paddy Boom, who was later replaced by Randy Real. After signing a contract with independent record label A Touch of Class in 2002, Scissor Sisters released their debut single "Electrobix". The critical success of its B-side, a cover version of Pink Floyd's song "Comfortably Numb", brought the group to the attention of Polydor Records, which signed them in 2003.
The English industrial metal band Godflesh have released eight studio albums and six extended plays along with a number of singles, compilations and remix and live albums. The group formed in 1982 under the name Fall of Because, but they did not release any music until 1988 when Justin Broadrick and B. C. Green changed the project's name to Godflesh and recorded a self-titled debut EP. That EP, released through the independent label Swordfish, was met with underground success and has since been recognised as one of the first industrial metal releases, if not the first.
Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds is a Brooklyn, New York-based seven-piece soul/rock band. The band is led by singer Arleigh Kincheloe, with Jackson Kincheloe on harmonica, Josh Myers on bass, Dan Boyden on drums, Phil Rodriguez on trumpet, and Brian Graham on baritone and tenor saxophones.
Fowl Play is Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds' first and so far their only live album, released on March 4, 2016 on Party Fowl Records, Thirty Tigers. The album was recorded on New Year's Eve, 2015, although not in the originally planned venue, Daryl's House in New York. Just a month in advance of their concert, Daryl decided to play that night at his joint, and the Dirty Bird's concert was canceled, and the band had to scramble to find another hall to play in for their planned recorded concert. They managed to land on their feet at the Warehouse at the Fairfield Theatre Co. in Connecticut and still sold out in advance.

Pound of Dirt is Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds's second studio album, released on February 28, 2012 on Modern Vintage Recordings. The title of the album came from a quote from the mother of singer Arleigh Kincheloe and brother Jackson Kincheloe who used to say after some food fell on the floor that she should "Pick that up and eat it -- you've got to eat a pound of dirt before you die". The song "Too Much" was written a year earlier, in early 2011. When the band was laying down the track, Sasha the guitar player found his 1950s Fender Tweed amp had caught fire when the transformer blew out. The band felt that summed up the intensity of the song. The band also created a video for their song, "Make It Rain". Their album was released on the same day as fellow Brooklyn musician, rapper Maino, so that brought them together to make the video. The video was "inspired by the grit and grime of Brooklyn, where both Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds and Maino are from."
The Weather Below is Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds's second studio album, released on May 18, 2015 on Party Fowl Records, Thirty Tigers. The album is their first to be released on their own label, Party Fowl Records. The album was produced by Ryan Hadlock at Bear Creek Studio in a three week session.
Fight is Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds's first and so far their only EP, released on October 1, 2013, on Modern Vintage Recordings. The album was produced by former American Idol judge Randy Jackson.
