Seetha Devi is a 1982 Telugu film starring Chiranjeevi, Sujatha, Satyendra Kumar, Rallapalli, Hari Babu, Dubbing Janaki, P. L. Narayana, Vankayala Satyanarayana.
The story revolves around brother (Chiranjeevi) and sister (Sujatha). Sujatha falls from a swing in her childhood and her right hand gets paralyzed. A police officer (Satyendra Kumar) who becomes a widower marries Sujatha despite her being handicapped. For the sake of Sujatha's marriage Chiranjeevi indulges in petty thefts influenced by Rallapalli. On the day of marriage Chiranjeevi is arrested by the police. Sujatha's husband dumps her because her brother Chiranjeevi is a thief.
Sujatha goes through hardships before uniting with her husband.

Khaidi (transl. Prisoner) is a 1983 Indian Telugu-language action film directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy. It stars Chiranjeevi and Madhavi. The film is loosely based on the 1982 American film First Blood. Released on 28 October 1983, the film was a massive commercial success by which Chiranjeevi rose to stardom. In 1984, it was remade in Hindi as Qaidi, and in Kannada under the same title, with Madhavi reprising her role both times.

47 Natkal is a 1981 Indian drama film directed by K. Balachander. It was simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu languages, the latter titled 47 Rojulu. The film stars Chiranjeevi, Jayaprada and Anne Patricia. Based on the novel of the same name by Sivasankari, it revolves around Vaishali (Jayaprada) and how her marriage to Kumar (Chiranjeevi) lasts only 47 days. The Tamil version was released on 17 July 1981 and the Telugu version on 3 September 1981.
Idi Katha Kaadu is a 1979 Indian Telugu-language drama film directed by K. Balachander starring Jayasudha, Kamal Haasan, Sarath Babu, Chiranjeevi, Saritha, and Rama Prabha. It is a remake of Balachander's own Tamil film Avargal (1977). Jayasudha reprised the role of Sujatha in the original. Kamal Haasan starred in the same role in both languages. This film also had Chiranjeevi as the villainous husband of Jayasudha. The film was shot in Black and white. Jayasudha won the Nandi Award for Best Actress.
Natpukkaga is a 1998 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by K. S. Ravikumar, starring R. Sarathkumar, Simran, Vijayakumar and Sujatha. It became a blockbuster upon release. The film won two Filmfare Awards South and Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, both ceremonies conferring Best Film and Best Actor (Sarathkumar). It was remade in Telugu by Ravikumar as Sneham Kosam (1999), and in Kannada as Diggajaru (2000).It is the Sarath Kumars 75th film
Patnam Vachina Pativrathalu is a 1982 Telugu film produced by Atluri Radha Krishna Murthy and directed by Mouli. The film stars Chiranjeevi, Mohan Babu, Radhika, Geetha, Rao Gopal Rao and Nutan Prasad in important roles. The film is a remake of the 1980 Kannada movie Pattanakke Banda Pathniyaru. The song Shankara Gangadhara from the Kannada version was retained in this movie.
