The Skif Skif-A is a Ukrainian single-place paraglider that was designed by Sergei Rozhko and produced by Skif Paragliding of Feodosia. It is now out of production. [1]

Design and development

The aircraft was designed as a beginner and intermediate glider. The models are each named for their approximate wing area in square metres. [1]

Skif-A 27
Small-sized model for lighter pilots. Its 11.9 m (39.0 ft) span wing has a wing area of 27.3 m2 (294 sq ft), 49 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.2:1. The pilot weight range is 70 to 95 kg (154 to 209 lb). [1]
Skif-A 28
Mid-sized model for medium-weight pilots. Its 12.4 m (40.7 ft) span wing has a wing area of 28.3 m2 (305 sq ft), 51 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.3:1. The pilot weight range is 85 to 100 kg (187 to 220 lb). [1]
Skif-A 30
Large-sized model for heavier pilots. Its 12.9 m (42.3 ft) span wing has a wing area of 30.4 m2 (327 sq ft), 53 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.3:1. The pilot weight range is 90 to 110 kg (198 to 243 lb). [1]
