Skinny is the debut novel by Hungarian-Canadian author Ibi Kaslik, first published by HarperCollins in May 2004. It appeared on the New York Times best sellers list [1] for two consecutive weeks in 2008


Skinny is an insight on what the absence of care and love in a parent-child relationship can do to the child's psych.

Summary

Holly's older sister, Giselle, is self-destructing. Haunted by her love-deprived relationship with her late step-father, who always favored the younger daughter, this once strong role model and medical student, is gripped by anorexia. Holly, a track star, struggles to keep her own life in balance while coping with the mental and physical deterioration of her beloved sister. Together, they can feel themselves slipping and are holding on for dear life.

The Cunningham family are a fictional family in the long-running Channel 4 soap opera, Hollyoaks. The family were one of the original families introduced in 1995, debuting on the first ever episode of Hollyoaks. Subsequently, the family has seen more tragedy than happiness. Cleo McQueen is a fictional character from the British soap opera Hollyoaks, played by Nadine Rose Mulkerrin. Cleo is a member of the show's established McQueen family and was introduced as the younger sister of Porsche and Celine McQueen, who arrived in late 2014. Actress Jennifer Metcalfe, who plays Mercedes McQueen, suggested that more McQueens should be introduced, as she knew the show was losing two members of the family.
