Sleiman (rapper)

Sleiman Nejim (born in Lebanon in 1982) is a Danish rapper of Palestinian origin. He is known by the mononym Sleiman.

He was born in Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp near Sidon, Lebanon. He immigrated to Denmark as a child and grew up in Askerød, a housing project in Hundige, a suburb south of Copenhagen. He joined the local gang Bloodz and ended up with a criminal record and jail time. After an assassination attempt on him, he left gang life. He was subject of the 2012 biography Men vi blev onde by Olav Hergel. [1]

Launching a rap career, he had great success with "Bomaye" that reached the top of Tracklisten, the official Danish Singles Chart. The title is derived from "Boma ye" (meaning kill him). It featured Livid & MellemFingaMuzik. The track was included in the similarly titled EP that reached number 4 in Danish Albums Chart.

Peter Ankjær Bigaard, better known by his stage name Pede B, is a Danish rapper originating from Hellerup. Starting rapping at a young age, he took part in MC's Fight Night, winning the title three times in 2005, 2007 and 2009, becoming the only rapper to score a hat-trick of victories in the competition's history. He has cooperated with many rappers, and with his album Over Askeskyen very notably with DJ Noize. The album reached number 3 on Hitlisten, the official Danish Albums Chart.

Specktors Danish hip hop group

Specktors is a Danish hip hop group formed in 2008 by Sluzh, Jonas For Fa'en, Wanr and Anders "Drysset" Drøidal. When Drøidal left the band, he wasn't replaced and Specktors became a trio. The band usually combines hip hop with electronic influences. The band is signed to EMI Denmark.

Søren Huss is a Danish singer, songwriter and musician. Prior to a solo career, he is best known as the lead singer and lyricist of the rock band Saybia, which was formed in Nyborg in January 1993. After a hiatus of 7 years, Saybia announced in June 2015 their new album will come out in October.

Sivas Torbati, better known by the mononym Sivas stylized as xx5!V45xx, is a Danish rapper of Iranian origin. He is signed to Sony Music.

Scarlet Pleasure Danish musical trio

Scarlet Pleasure is a Danish R&B, soul, funk and pop musical trio made up of Emil Goll as lead vocals, Alexander Malone on bass and Joachim Dencker on drums. The formative years of the all-Danish trio was in New York City. They released their 2014 EP Mirage, 2016 album Youth Is Wasted on the Young and 2017 EP Limbo all charting on Tracklisten, the official Danish Albums Chart. The band is signed to Copenhagen Records.

Citybois is a Danish pop music duo from Gentofte, Denmark. The band was formed by Anthon Edwards Knudtzon & Thor Blanchez Farlov to compete in the eight season of the Danish version of the X Factor. They were eliminated in the semi-final, coming in 4th place after they received the fewest votes from the Danish public. They have released two studio album's, "What Bois About To", and "BOIS FOREVER".

After initially growing out of the B.O.C. rap collective and releasing several singles between 2011 and 2013, also as a feature artist, Gilli rose to mainstream prominence in 2014 following the release of the musical drama film Ækte vare (2014), playing a fictionalized version of himself.

MellemFingaMuzik is a Danish hip-hop group, consisting of rappers Stepz and Branco. The duo started publishing materials in late 2011, after which they joined the Danish record label HideOut that also had signed up rappers Jooks and Sivas. When HideOut closed, MellemFingaMuzik started a collaboration with the newly formed label Grounded. They also teamed up with Benny Jamz and Gilli, from the B.O.C. collective, and all formed the common front and collective known as the Molotov Movement.

Rijan Nabaz better known by his stage name Node is a Danish-Kurdish singer and rapper.
