Smoke Hollow is an American rock band formed in 2015. In 2017, the ensemble released their debut studio album entitled Salvation. [2]

History

In July 2015, a rock band was started by bass guitarist John Exall, formerly [3] of Texas Hippie Coalition, lead guitarist Diego "Ashes" Ibarra from Static-X, vocalist Jason "Dewey" Bragg from Kill Devil Hill, and drummer Ralf Mueggler from Crowned by Fire. [4] [5] [6]

Soon after the band was started, Jason Williams of American heavy metal band Delphian replaced Ibarra. [7] [8] [9]

In August 2015, the band began an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign to assist with the recording of their debut album. [10]

In June 2017, they published an audio recording for "Edge of Tomorrow", [11] followed by an Independence Day release of "Nowhere to Run" near the beginning of the month following. [12]

On July 28, 2017, their debut studio album, Salvation, was released. [2]

In December 2018, the band announced that they were creating a music video for "Salvation", the title track for their debut album. [13] [14]

Lifehouse is an American rock band from Los Angeles comprising Jason Wade, Rick Woolstenhulme Jr. Bryce Soderberg, and Steve Stout. The band came to mainstream prominence in 2001 with the hit single "Hanging by a Moment" from their debut studio album No Name Face. The song was number one for three weeks on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart and peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Rex Robert Brown is an American musician and songwriter, best known as the longtime bassist for heavy metal band Pantera (1982–2003). He is a former member of Down (2001–2011) and the former bassist for the band Kill Devil Hill. He released his debut solo album Smoke on This… in 2017. For the first time in Brown's career, the work features him not only as a bassist but also as lead vocalist and guitarist.

Hinder American rock band

Hinder is an American rock band from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, formed in 2001 by lead singer Austin Winkler, guitarist Joe "Blower" Garvey, and drummer Cody Hanson with bassist Mike Roden and guitarist Mark King, joining in 2003, solidifying the line-up. The band released four studio albums with Winkler; Extreme Behavior (2005), Take It to the Limit (2008), All American Nightmare (2010) and Welcome to the Freakshow (2012). Cody Hanson, along with former lead singer Austin Winkler, wrote the majority of the band's music on their first four albums. After Winkler left the band in 2013, they looked for a new lead vocalist, and added Marshal Dutton. They have since released: When The Smoke Clears (2015) and The Reign (2017) with their new vocalist. Their seventh studio album is expected in 2020. The band was inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame in 2007.

Mayday Parade American rock band

Mayday Parade is an American rock band from Tallahassee, Florida. Their debut EP Tales Told by Dead Friends was released in 2006, and sold over 50,000 copies without any label support. In July 2007, Mayday Parade released their debut album A Lesson in Romantics. After signing to Fearless in 2006, the band also signed onto a major label with Atlantic in 2009. Their second studio album, Anywhere but Here was released in October 2009 and their third album, entitled Mayday Parade, was released in October 2011. Mayday Parade's fourth album, titled Monsters in the Closet, was released in October 2013. Their fifth album, titled Black Lines, was released October 2015. In April 2018, the band signed to Rise Records and released their sixth studio album Sunnyland on June 15, 2018.

Oh, Sleeper

Oh, Sleeper is an American metalcore band from Fort Worth, Texas that formed in 2006 with former members of Terminal. In over a decade's span, Oh, Sleeper has released four full-length albums, two EPs, and toured worldwide as an opening act. After independently releasing The Titan EP and traveling in the full Van's Warped Tour 2013, the band went on hiatus to allow clean vocalist and lead guitarist Shane Blay to join As I Lay Dying members in starting California-based metal band Wovenwar. The band's fourth full-length album, Bloodied / Unbowed, was released on July 12, 2019.

Architects (British band) British metalcore band

Architects are a British metalcore band from Brighton, East Sussex, formed in 2004 by twin brothers Dan and Tom Searle. The band now consists of Dan Searle on drums, Sam Carter on vocals, Alex Dean on bass, and Adam Christianson and Josh Middleton on guitars. They have been signed to Epitaph Records since 2013.

Sonic Ranch

Sonic Ranch, in the border town of Tornillo, Texas, is the world's largest residential recording studio complex. There are five studios designed by Vincent Van Haaff on a 1,700-acre (690 ha) pecan orchard, which borders the Rio Grande and Mexico. Located 30 miles (48 km) east of El Paso, Texas, in the border town of Tornillo, there are five houses on the property where artists stay while recording. The studio was founded in 1989 by the current owner/director Tony Rancich around a large traditional Spanish hacienda, which is an adobe structure that was built in the late 1930s, with pine-tree vigas as the ceiling structure. Some rock bands have noted the calm, rural wilderness and easy access to Ciudad Juárez across the border.

Carved Records is an American record label operating out of Dallas, Texas, that began operation in 2009.

Kill Devil Hill (band)

Kill Devil Hill is an American rock supergroup, founded in 2011 by drummer Vinny Appice, bassist Rex Brown, guitarist Mark Zavon, and lead vocalist Dewey Bragg. The band is named after the town of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, a location renowned from pirating days.

"Turn It Up" is a song by American heavy metal band Texas Hippie Coalition. Released on June 13, 2012, it is the first single from Peacemaker, the third studio album from the ensemble. The song is the first by the band to chart on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart, peaking at number 39.

Meredith Cody Jinks is an American outlaw country music singer and songwriter. His 2016 album, I'm Not the Devil, reached No. 4 on the Billboard Country Albums chart, while his 2018 album, Lifers, reached No. 2 on the same chart.
