The Soanes Centre is an education and community centre in Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park, London. [1]
Since its opening in 1993 by David Bellamy, the Soanes centre has been used as a centre for environmental studies and nature workshops. [1] [2]
Since 1997, the charity Setpoint London East has been running free workhops for local schools. About 8000 children have benefited from science and nature workshops every year, using the park as a natural environment for hands-on experience. [1] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8]
Since 2023, Setpoint London East has been partnering with the CIC Kin Structures, leading to an artist residency between April and July 2023, organisational support, strengthening of its ties to the local community, and collaborations with organisations and practitioners. [9] [10]

Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park is a local nature reserve and historic cemetery in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets within the East End of London. It is regarded as one of the seven great cemeteries of the Victorian era, the "Magnificent Seven", instigated because the normal church burial plots had become overcrowded. Since the 1990s it has been managed by the Friends of Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park, a registered charity, with the purpose of protecting, preserving and promoting this important space for conservation, heritage and community.

Mayflower Primary School is a primary school in the Poplar area of East London in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Originating in 1843 and formerly called Upper North Street School, it was badly damaged in an air raid in 1917 during the First World War, resulting in the deaths of eighteen children. The school was rebuilt in 1928 and adopted its present name in 1952. The school was judged to be "outstanding" at an Ofsted inspection in 2017, and was awarded the title "Primary School of the Year" in 2020 by a national newspaper.
