Sofia Rose Haft (born Sofia Rose Gross) is an American technology executive. [1] [2]

Early life

Haft received her bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago, where she was the captain of the varsity swimming and diving team. [3] [4] She later completed the Technology and Democracy Fellowship at Harvard Kennedy School where she focused how companies could increase voter turnout. [5] [6]

Career

She worked for a Washington, D.C.-based nonpartisan think tank, the McCain Institute. [7] [8] [9]

Haft joined Snap Inc. in 2015. [3] [10] She worked at Snap Inc. for over 7 years and held various positions including News Editor, Public Policy Manager and Head of Social Impact, among others. [11]

She is a Public Affairs Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve. [12] [2] She has been the director of communication at Anduril Industries since April, 2023. [13]

Haft is married to American entrepreneur Michael Haft, who is the co-founder and CEO of Compass Coffee. [2] [1]
