Alex and Anna has purchased their new house only to discover it needs renovation. They hire Ove as a dummy to raise their saleprice on their old house. Meanwhile Fredde is trying to get Victor interested in subjects like mathematics. At the same time they discover that they've got bedbugs. When Ove hears that the house that Alex has bought is located on Vitsippebacken 37, he laughs and says that it's called the "house of break-ups", due to the many break-ups that has occurred there.

Solsidan is a Swedish television comedy series that premiered on 29 January 2010 on TV4. The series is named after a small part of Saltsjöbaden called Solsidan. It revolves around Alex and Anna who are expecting their first child and have just moved to Alex's childhood home in Saltsjöbaden, Stockholm County. Alex tries to get Anna to enjoy herself, and at the same time spend time with his childhood friend Fredde. Ten episodes were scheduled to air in the first season. A second ten-episode season premiered 16 January 2011.

The series is about Alex and Anna, a couple expecting their first child and planning to move to where Alex grew up, the posh neighbourhood of Solsidan, the name of which means "The Sunny Side". The show has been sold internationally and will be aired in Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland. On December 3, 2010, the producers announced that the script to the series had been sold to the American network ABC, which plans to create their own version of the series to air in the United States.

This season will feature the wedding between Alex and Anna and Anna's parents will appear, her dad is a military and her mom an ex-beauty queen. Over all, Anna and Mickan will be the main-characters for a greater part of the show. Also, Alex neighbor Tord Malmberg will appear more since he is getting together with Alex's mom Margareta.

Solsidan is a 2017 Swedish comedy-drama film directed by Felix and Måns Herngren, based on the Solsidan TV-series. Primarily set in Saltsjöbaden, Nacka, the film follows the same general cast as the Solsidan TV-series: Alexander and Anna Löfström, who has recently divorced, their friends Ove and Annette Sundberg, who searches for a sperm donor after finding out that Ove is sterile, and the Schiller family, consisting of Fredrik "Fredde", Mikaela "Mickan", their son Victor, and their daughter Ebba, who travels to Torekov, Skåne, to visit Fredde's estranged father, Mauritz.
